Why today?

Kori(P.O.V)

Saturday was really scary. Since today is Monday already I went to go get ready for today. I put on a denim short jacket with the sleeves rolled up, white crop top, light blue skinny jeans, and my black converse. I went downstairs and ate breakfast. Today might be great since I'm going to tryout for cheerleading. Xavier said he was going to be there for me to cheer me on. He better not say ' that's my girlfriend out there' he always says that. I blush whenever he says that. I used to be in cheerleading when I was in middle school but I dropped out and joined choir but I decided to join back in. I had a lot of drama in middle school. But Xavier was with me the entire day to stay by my side. I loved it when we first met.

Flashback-

Kori(P.O.V)

Today is my first day of middle school. I went to go get my schedule for my classes it was very hard. I walked with my eyes on the paper until I ran into someone. I saw it was a boy and he looked very cute and handsome omg I think this is my first crush. He had black hair and blue eyes. I dropped my paper and my other books." I'm so sorry I didn't see where I was going". He said in an apologetic voice." It's okay I wasn't looking were I was going also". He hadn't seen me yet since he kept on looking at the floor. I reached down to get my books and he did the same. When I saw the last book on the floor I reached down to it and I felt a soft hand on mines. It was the boys hand. We both blushed as the color of my hair. That's when he decided to look at me. He stared at me for a little bit until he spoke." Hi my name is Xavier Red". He seems nice." Hi my name is Kori Anders". I saw in my regular innocent tone." Nice name are you new here?"." Actually I am I just moved here". He looked at me shocked." That's cool I also moved here this year I think last month". I smiled and nodded." Hey um do you know what high school your going to?"." Yes I'm going to Gotham High School". He was shocked for the second time already." Wow that's awesome. I'm actually going to Jump City High School". I've always wanted to go to that school but I couldn't for some stupid reason of Komi's." That's cool". I wish we could've gone to the same high school.

Flashback ended-

That was so cute when we both blushed. I'm just happy that I go to the same high school as my boyfriend. A lot of boys asked me out in Gotham high I just never said yes since I was dating Xavier. Anyways I wouldn't cheat on him. I heard a car honking and I saw it was Xavier waiting for me so I got out of my house. I got inside of Xavier's car and closed the door. As soon as I got in I felt a hand on my thigh and it was Xavier's hand." So are you happy for cheerleading tryouts today?". For some reason I feel nervous now maybe this is a mistake." I don't know I'm just nervous I feel like I won't get in the team. Maybe this was a mistake maybe I shouldn't tryout". He removed his hand from my thigh and looked at me strait in the eye." Kori what are you talking about you well do great and you well get in the team. Remember in middle school when you joined? You were awesome. You even had all the boys all over you I was jealous but still and I was one of those boys. All I'm trying to say is that you can do this Kori and I believe in you". Why is he always right." Thanks Xavier and fine I'll tryout". He kissed me before hearing those words. When we got to school we opened the doors. But everybody stared at us. Then I saw Rachel running towards us." Are you okay? I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. Because of me now this happened to you and him". What is she talking about I'm confused." Rachel what are you talking about?". She looked up at me and gave me a confused face." Aren't you pregnant with him? Because that's What everybody is saying since he told everybody". Wait Xavier told them I was pregnant with his child why. I turned my head to Xavier and he looked mad as if he knew who did that." Xavier why did you tell everybody that I was pregnant with your child?". He looked surprised and turned his attention to me." It wasn't me Kori but I think I know who did it". Oh okay so it wasn't Xavier but then who could've said that." Can you please tell me who you think said that?"." Yeah it was Richard". My eyes widened after hearing that I get it that we almost did it but why would he do that." Xavier what are we going to do. Now everybody thinks that I'm pregnant with his child". I started crying and he hold me close to his body. With my head on his chest. But all that went away when he pulled himself away from me. And started walking fast." Where are you going?". He stopped in his tracks but didn't dare to face me." I'm going to beat the shit out of him that's where I'm going". I tried running to him but there was 2 girls blocking me and Rachel. One was blonde and had blue eyes and was wearing everything pink. The other girl had red hair like me and blue eyes and wore black and yellow clothes." May you please move out of the way". I said trying to make my way through them." Hi my name is kitten and no because your pregnant with my boyfriend!!". Wait what their together? Rachel turned her head at the same time as me and I guess we both had the same idea but then I turned my attention back to kitten. That's a weird name." I'm not pregnant!". Everybody stopped talking and turned their attention to us. Please don't tell me there is going to be a fight between us I barely met her but I think Im starting to hate her now.  They both started into a fighting position and Rachel and I did the same.

Xavier(P.O.V)

    I walked as fast as I could to get my hands on Richards fucking neck. How dare he say that he and Kori are having a baby. Now everybody fucking thinks that she's pregnant with Richard. I finally found who I was looking for in perfect timing. I turned him around and punched him and shoved him in the lockers." WHAT THE FUCK DUDE!! WHY DID YOU TELL EVERYBODY THAT KORI IS PREGNANT WITH YOUR BABY!!?? It's not even true!". He punched me back and started bleeding from the corner of my mouth." Because it's true she is pregnant with my baby. Now if you excuse me I have to meet my girlfriend and also to my baby that we'll be born soon". He is not getting anywhere near her. I shoved him again and punched him as all I could do. When I thought I was done with him he punched me back like 3 times until I pushed him off me since I was on the floor I didn't even notice there was a crowd around us. I then saw another crowd in the hallway but it wasn't our crowd. I then knew I was done with him for now. I got up and all I saw from the other crowd is a red headed girl, another red head, goth looking girl, and a blonde wearing everything pink fighting. OMG THATS KORI! I ran over to her and tried to make my way through the horde of the crowd. Until I was able to be in front I saw my baby beating kittens ass. Damn I have a badass girlfriend. I went to stop Kori." Kori stop she's not worth it". I grabbed her by the waist and didn't let go. I don't want her to get to any trouble. She finally relaxed by my touch. When she relaxed I took her to the nurses office. When we got there there was a sign that said 'Close'. I picked the lock and got in. When we went in I put her in the medical bed." Babe are you okay?". She didn't have bruises or anything she was just bleeding from her nose." Yes I'm okay. But what happened to you? Your bleeding everywhere on your face". I didn't even notice about my face bleeding until one drop of blood fell from my face." I'm okay babe all I'm worried about is you. You could've gotten hurt Kori. I don't want that please be safer"." Of course and you too". I nodded and gave her a heartwarming smile. When we both were done cleaning each other's face we finally rested on the medical bed not even caring about our classes. We both stayed like that for awhile. I had my arms around her waist and her head on my chest while we hold hands together. I pulled her closer every minute. I love this moment.
