So vacation is pretty cool for me. Right now I am in Williamsburg Virginia. My parents and I are enjoying the colonial times. It's crazy to think that I actually am enjoying all this stuff.
We brought our friend with us and she is having a great time too. I love the fact that we all are enjoying ourselves.
All of this historic stuff tires me out sometimes, but I enjoy myself by seeing the looks on my parents and their friends face.
I love that about how close we are. We don't enjoy our happiness from the worldly things around us. We enjoy it by being together. Sometimes along the way it can get rough.
So I guess today's life lesson is to appreciate YOUR family. Even if it's just a single mom or a single dad. Maybe it's a grandparent, aunt, uncle, sibling. Who cares who it is. As long as they care about you. Even if they are just ministers from your church who love being around you. They CARE! I have this one youth minister that always sees the positive side. He is probably one of the best youth ministers by far.
We don't appreciate those things when we really should. How long has it been since you have told someone thank-you for taking the time of day to say hello, how are you, nice haircut, cool shoes, I love you, need a hand, I love that shirt you are wearing. Those little comments might make a huge impact on your life. Those little comments might make an impact on other people's life.
Think about it and meditate on it. We are so ungrateful.
