Chapter 1- Awkward Meetings

Chapter 1

I woke up and my first thought was 'Why is it so FRICKING warm?!' I then remembered that I was in Australia, not Ireland and that I was going to slowly die because of the heat.

'Cassidy!' My mum yelled. That signalled it was time for me to get up, so naturally I ignored it.

'CASSIDY ANNE HODGENS STOP IGNORING ME OR YOU'LL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!' I sighed and pulled myself from the covers of my bed, which was basically my life. I managed to get ready in half and hour and ran downstairs, quickly grabbing some toast before calling goodbye and heading to school.

I didn't mind wearing the uniform necessary for Norwest Christian College, but having to walk in this extreme heat in a heavy uniform to school, not so fun.

I munched quietly on my toast as I walked, humming along to The City by The 1975. Thank goodness I went to their concert before I left Ireland. But thinking of the concert hurt too much because it made me miss my friends, so I quickly changed songs to some 30 Seconds To Mars and quickened my pace to get to school somewhat on time.

As I finished my toast, I arrived at te school gates. I sighed, hooking my thumbs through the straps if my backpack, and removed one earphone. I mean, I wanted to look at least a bit sociable.

I watch my converse as I walk through the school doors, and because of this I failed to notice the person in front of me stop, so therefore I rammed into him.

We both ended up on the floor, me rubbing my head, him rubbing his shoulder. I couldn't look him in the face, my own changing into a charming tomato colour. 'Sorry,' I muttered as I tried to stuff everything back in my backpack. Next thing I knew, another pair of hands was helping me. 'Don't worry 'bout it,' I could hear the smile in his voice.

When everything was back in my bag he stood and offered me a hand up. I then, finally, looked up into the face of the most beautiful boy I've ever seen.

Hey hey! So yea I hope you guys like it so far, I was going to say this is a cliffhanger as to which boy it is but you can see from the title so em yea :/
