"I'm confused. So, you will fight against them, and they will fight against you, but in the concept of him fighting against him? Where's the sense? Exactly! How about, you fight against each other, while we sit back and play some wagers?" - Jack Sparrow (MA BAE)

Chapter One: The Pirate

Two deep, sea blue eyes snapped open suddenly and looked from side-to-side quickly and jerky, in a rather wild-like way.

Everything zoomed out a little, revealing a worn, feminine face; it was Japanese-styled but with large eyes and thicker lips. Her shoulder length, dark brown hair was splayed out against the oaken table smothered in yellowed maps and paper, as well as ink pots, quills and dried candles that had died long ago. She wore a thin, dark blue bandana above her eyebrows, with a couple beads and trinkets hanging from the top, a well as a fair chunk of hair at the right.

The woman hastily sat up and began to rummage around the table, under and over. She even flipped over the furniture item, ruining numerous maps and other items. She gasped in pleasure as she held up a glass bottle, and went to take a swig but stopped when no liquid retreated. She slowly tipped the bottle upside down, making a face mixed between disgust and horror.

"Why is the run always gone?" She mumbled, drunkenly slurred, even though she looked not a bit drunk. The woman edgily stumbled up and drunkenly swaggered towards the door to the cabin, ceasing all movement suddenly as she had a shocking realisation. "Oh. That's why." And kicked down the door, quite literally.

"WAIT!" She yelled to, nothing, and span around back inside. She, yet again, started to rummage for something she forgot.

While the girl was looking for whatever-she-lost, it was easy to make out what she was wearing. She wore a dirty, one-white shirt with buttons, undone at the wrists (where very large sleeves were) and at the top of her chest. She was wearing numerous belts and had a very large price of blue-checkered cloth around her hips, tied in a knot a the left and two long trailings reaching her lower thighs. She wore a dark brown pair of trousers that were loose until they reached some knee length, beige boots; that looked very DIY and handmade.

Nearly half an hour later, the woman proudly swaggered out of the ruined cabin, this time wearing a black, tricorne hat and a very large, baggy, black trenchcoat, and using flailing hand gestures. She also had a square compass hanging from her waist, a pistol strapped to her hip and a sword in a sheath on top of the weapon.

The woman then climbed up the wooden sail mast, which had two medium sails attached to, and shakily balanced at the top, gazing out to the approaching port.

The newly approaching port had a large cliff next to it, accompanied by more highland and gaps in the large rocks. There was a small area of town behind the towed boats and ships, behind the many sail-hands and mercenaries.

But, something caught her eyes as she moved closer and closer: three skeletal bodies, hung by a rope noose, a wooden sign swaying next to the poor souls,

Pirates! Ye beware!

The mysterious woman fluidly removed her hat, holding it onto her chest as a sign of respect for the dead. A look of pity and remorse flashed into her face for a split second before it disappeared, replacing with a emotionless look.

The sound of flowing water and splashing shook the woman from her trance, causing her to look down in shock: the bloody boat was flooding! She, panicked, hastily leaped down into the steadily rising sea water and grabbed a bucket floating in the corner of the small boat.

She, quickly as she possibly could, tried to foolishly scoop some of the water out of the boat for a few times before she gave an agitated noise. The woman grabbed the bucked and threw it toward the port, the object not landing any further than a few feet. She rolled her tired eyes and went to climb the mast once again.
