River, Sea and our duty?

The next day it was Holi. All were playing with colors on the terrace garden of the palace , which was covered with beautiful plants of all sorts ,flowers like rose , parijatak, mogra,lily ,marigold,etc and a small but beautiful fountain in the middle of terrace . As Bheem said there were all sweets arrangements made along with bhang , a drink especially made for the festival. He was content with the food.

One could have a good view of the market near the palace standing near the fence of the terrace. Arjun was standing there,looking at the families , children enjoying the festival. He wished he didn't have gone to the vedshalaa and was thinking about how she got angry after seeing him.Everyone was celebrating the festival happily but not all. Arjun was with the others but not his mind. Draupadi was in her chamber because she was not feeling well, she had a fever last night.

Krishna walks to Arjun to color him.
"Happy Holi my friend!"

Arjun greets him and also colors him.

"What are u thinking about ,Paarth?"

"Nothing important."He hesitates.

"Don't lie to your friend. Tell me, may be l can help you."

"Madhav, why can't we give happiness to our loved ones?" He speaks out finally.

"I know whom u r talking about. This things are easier said than done. Expectation go on increasing,but one should remain loyal to one's duty and never give up. Sometimes just being true to others make the things lot easier."

"I hope you are right. Thanks for that."He says. Arjun then takes the permission from Krishna to leave for his work. He just can't stand there with his thoughts taking control over him.

After the celebration everyone gets to their work. Arjun is busy in discussion about the security strategies used for the protection of the palace gates &people with the other Pandavs and of course Baldev,the elder brother of Krishna.

It was raining hard. Draupadi was in her chamber,"Did Arjun give you this? " She asks Devikaa (her servant) for the hundredth time. She nods in yes.
"How can he call me this very time?"

"I think going there and talking to him is the only way to get the answers."She said that for the twenfieth time.

"Alright,I think I must go."She also said this for the tenth and was actually going now. Devikaa sighed of relief.

She went near the garden, Arjun was standing in the rain along with a girl, Shikhandini." What is she doing here?" She went to them.

"Draupadi,take this" Shikhandini,hands her a bag full of coins." Both of you run away and be happy, I'll manage the rest." She said.

"What?"Arjun and Draupadi squeaked at the same time.

"I'm not running away. Not at all!"He said

"So I am Jeeji."

"I'm giving both of you a chance. Don't say that you were left helpless.I know how much you love each other." She answered. "Look, there's no one at the gate, go if you want to. I'm going inside now. You both decide?" She walks away.

Arjun keeps staring at Draupadi, while she looks for her sister.

"Panchali, I think it's better to...."words dry out.
