Chapter 16

Six years old
Leon's POV
It's been a year since the quads were born and everyone has fallen in love with them. It was a bit hectic the first few weeks as I was so overly protective of them but it's getting better. Today we are meeting with the Alpha male and Alpha female of the Fennik pack they are coming with their four pups and some warriors as well as one of their Beta's. While their other beta stays to lead to pack. I am currently finishing the inspections of the rooms that our guests will be staying in and give a final nod satisfied. I then tracked my mates to the kitchen and the sight I see is adorable. My quads are in high chairs while Chase and Cody are baking cakes with our ten, six-year-olds. I cleared my throat as I stood in the kitchen doorway watching them pups run around with chocolate cake mix all over them as my mates put in around twenty trays of chocolate cupcakes in the ovens and set a timer before turning to look at me.

"How long have you been standing their papa," said Iummy as she walked over to me and as she does she has cake mix smudged all around her face and it's so cute so I pick her up and run my forefinger down her cheek and show her the chocolate and see just giggles. "I've been here for two minutes Iummy just to see you put the cakes in the oven" replied as I picked up a cloth and wiped the rest of the chocolate of her face and put her down. "Hey, Leon what's up," asked Chase as he was gathering up the rubbish and putting it in the bin whilst Cody was wiping the surfaces until they were all clean. "The Fennik pack will be here soon and I wanted to make sure everyone was clean and ready" I said and then as if reading my mind Cody told me to take all the cakes out when they were done and not to let anyone touch them whilst they went and cleaned up our ten, six-year-old pups as the quads weren't dirty so were left to me.

The timer went off and I switched off all the ovens and took out all the cupcakes and took them out and placed them on cooling racks and stayed in the kitchen to make sure our pack members didn't make the cupcakes. I was playing with our quads when my mates walked back in with the pups who were all clean and dressed. "Anyone tries to take the cup cakes," said Chase smiling. "Yeah a few people tried but I told them no and they left," I said as I stood up and walked over to my mates placing a kiss on both their foreheads and inhaled their scents mixed with their soap. They put the cakes in our fridge and put everything else away, you see we have different fridges for certain stuff so we have a specific fridge for things the Alpha's want to put in there. I also saw some piping as well as cake decorations somewhere near the cakes. "Why did you make so many cakes," I asked somewhat confused. "The Fennik Pack are coming today right we thought we could get the pups to bond by decorating cakes and don't worry we already decorated a good few we did earlier today," said Chase. Wow, I didn't think they had been baking all day, but I guess they want to make a good impression because the last time they saw the Alpha's was at the council ball.

"Alpha Cody, Alpha Chase, Alpha Leon the Fennik pack have arrived and are in the foyer," said Paul one of the warrior wolves. "Thank you for alerting us," I said and we gathered the pups I held George and James whilst Chase holds Isabelle and Cody holds Blaze and the rest of the pups walk close to us as we enter the foyer of the mansion. "Hello Alpha's, Beta's and warriors and pups of the Fennik pack," said Cody as he extended his hand towards Alpha Conner and Chase extended his hand toward Alpha Jupiter, Conners Mate she was beautiful. Conner has black hair and forest green eyes with a muscular build, Jupiter has long flowing light brown hair and stunning hazel eyes and seems slim but has a pregnant stomach. "It's good to be here your Majesty's and it's a pleasure to finally meet your pups and see where your pack lives," said Jupiter in awe. "Yes it is our pleasure to be here and we brought our triplets, Heather, Ellie and Charlotte as well as our younger son Ethan," said Alpha Conner pointing to each of his pups in turn.

Ethan has dark black hair like his dad and hazel eyes like his mother and looks around four. The triplets Heather, Ellie and Charlotte all have dark brown hair but Heather has forest green eyes, Ellie has Hazel brown eyes and Charlotte has ice blue eyes. They looked around six and that makes them completely identical except for her eyes. "I would like to introduce our pups, our two sets of triplets, Miya, Max and Micheal. Rosa, Rex and Robin. Our two sets of twins, Iummy and Xavier as well as Victoria and Lucian who are all six. And finally, our quads who are a year old and are called, George, James, Isabelle and Blaze" I said proudly pointing to the pups and the hatchlings one by one. "Wow and I thought I had it hard with four," said Jupiter while smiling brightly. "We thought the pups could bond over decorating cupcakes we made earlier so why don't your warriors go socialise while you follow us to the kitchen. We will have people move your luggage into your rooms" said chase smiling at them.

Once we got into the kitchen my two handsome mates got out the cupcakes as well as their decorating tools setting them all on the table calling all the pups who were the high ranking pups, which includes Cameron and Eva beta Ronnie's kids. Charlie, Zach, May August and June. As well as Corals two pups spike and Summer who are both females. My Mates set them all around one big table and got two nanny dragons and four wolves to watch over them as well as Jupiter as she insisted on staying with the pups. We then led Alpha Conner and his Beta Kyle to our office to talk over some things. "Were so glad you could finally visit and with pups in toe?" said Cody towards Alpha Conner. "We would have visited sooner but I can tell you've had your hands full, I heard you had a fight with another pack," he said as we all took seats in our office. "Yes though the fight was quickly won and we destroyed the pack but spared pups and those who didn't fight," said Chase confidently.

"So down to business we will be staying a week to see how your pack functions and how you train," he said while looking out the window towards our training grounds. "I think we will enjoy having you here your welcome to explore the packhouse now but be careful around a few of the new mothers their still in the overprotective phase," said Cody smirking towards me and I knew he was mainly talking about me with the quads. "But before I do why is there an extremely strong scent around your borders and I have seen that school a couple of miles from here it's fantastic," said Conner. "Well, their wolves like the scent to be strong and we've hardly had trouble with rouges. And my mates designed the school so our young wouldn't have to go to human schools" I said.

"Let's go check on the pups they must be done by now"said Cody and we all then headed towards the kitchen where all the cupcakes were decorated but the pups weren't there so we followed their scent to one of our game rooms where all the pups were playing with each other while Jupiter was sitting with our quads as well as the other females in the room. "So how have the pups been much trouble," I asked Jupiter while she was letting Blaze play with her fingers. "They've been wonderful all of your pups are extremely well behaved and have just been playing I think I'm going to like staying this week" she replied watching all the pups and then placing a hand on her extended stomach. "So when's your next pup or pups due and do you know the gender," said Chase as he sat next to her and picked up James and George and Cody sat next to her and picked Isabelle. "I'm due next week and I'm having another boy," she said as she placed a loving hand over her belly. "Thank you for hosting our stay we appreciate it and I hope the unmated warriors I brought with me get to find their mates," said Jupiter while watching her Beta Kyle.

He walked up to our group and locked eyes with one of the female wolves assigned to watch our pups. "Mine" he growled and pulled her against his chest and inhaled her scent. "Hello my name is Kristen Black of the Firestone pack and I accept you as my mate," said Kristen with lots of emotions swirling around in her eyes. "My name is Kyle Forest beta of the Fennik pack and I accept you as my mate as well," said Kyle and then they disappeared. "See I told you bringing Kyle was a good idea," Jupiter said to her mate. "Let's all rest up for the day we will show you the training grounds tomorrow so just mingle today," said Cody and with that, we dispersed.
