Once upon a time, a forest in the land of Montpellier, France. There lived a girl named Alexis, Nadine Alexis. Lived a simple life but turned into horrible. Her mother died leaving her last words to her;
"Have courage and be kind."
Alexis kept those words in mind, promised herself to remember those words forever. After few years being alone with her father, her father decided to marry again. Now she lives with her stepmother, 2 stepsisters and her father.
After a while, her father also passed away on his trip, right now she's left with her stepsisters, Maria and Sofia, her mother, Lucia, but she can't call her 'mother' instead she calls her Senyora, Senyora Lucia. She's forced to call her own stepmother that even though she's not even part of royalty.
Her stepmother and stepsisters are very cruel and mean to her, they don't treat her like family, they treat her like a servant. She does all the chores at home and she has very limited time rest.
