4.

At the hotel I only had a few bags with me as I carried them down to the lobby. I handed my key card back to the front desk lady and called a taxi.

I carried the crinkled piece of paper that Raven handed to me and when the taxi finally arrived, told him where to go.
We finally stopped in front of a townhouse, smashed between two other apartment buildings.

I thanked the driver and gave him my card.
I pulled my bags up the stairs and let my fist hover above the door.
"Get out!"

I heard screaming from inside and something shatter than the door flew open with a pissed looking man storming past me. His shirt was half buttoned as he shoved my shoulder.

He looked me over and snarled. "Oh! Kicking me out but inviting this douchebag?!"

Raven leaned against the doorway in boy shorts and a long t shirt than covered most of the shorts. She held a drink in her hand and snorted.

"Try looking in the mirror."

Her hair was slightly messy and she looked like a beautiful mess.
I stared on in silence at the scene.

"Fuck you! You'll come crawling back bitch"

I dropped my bags and shoved his shoulder. "You don't talk like that to a lady"

He scoffed "And who the fuck do you think you are?!"

I raised my hands in peace "look I just-"

Then he came storming over with his fist raised. I blocked his weak punch and he went tumbling into the stair railing.

"Dude just chill!"

He clenched his fists as he gathered his balance "I am chill!"

He came swinging again and this time Raven caught his hand in mid swing, pulling it back against his lower back and shoving him down. I heard a small crack and the mans moans of pain.

"Damn" I mumbled.

"Anthony leave."

The man pushed his way away from the woman and dusted himself off.
"Whatever"

He cradled his arm as he stumbled down the steps.

"You better watch it Roth! Ryan knows where you live."

She glared at him and began dragging my luggage inside.

She huffed out a sigh and ran a hand through her hair.
"Sorry about that, an old partner of mine"

"Oh.."

She coughed to clear her voice "like a old partner at work, I mean we use to fool around a bit but we weren't an item"

She rambled on as she placed my belongings in a room.

"Gotcha" I responded.

"Well here's your room. It only has a bed, sorry for lack of furniture"

I examined the small box room "Don't  worry about it, it's cozy"

She smiled "The bathroom is down the hall where my room is, you can't miss it because my door is green. I don't know why the idiot who lived here last painted that door green, but hey it's grown on me"

I chuckled "Alright then"

"Well welcome I suppose, I hope I'm not to much of a horrible roommate"

I chuckled  and began taking my jacket off "Same here"

She smiled and patted my shoulder "Pizza on me tonight"

I laughed "You really know how to please a man"
