**********

Seeing James in Alex's party is the last thing I'd ever expected to happen this day. Are they friends? Well if they are, how could Alex and I never met before? I guess now I realize that there are really a lot about James that I still didn't know. James didn't seem to notice my presence because of the crowded people. But that's much better. I still don't want to face him. Most especially not after what happened last night.

"Hey Alex I need to pee." I lied. I tried to yell a little since the music is so loud.

"Oh yeah sure. The comfort room is that way." He instructed, pointing his fingers to the west.

"Okay thanks. I'll catch up later." I smiled and went directly to my way.

I finally reached the comfort room. I stood in front of the mirror and stared at myself for a moment. 'Keep yourself together Emma.' I told myself. The intoxicated lady beside me looked at me and smirk. She must've been thinking I'm crazy for talking to myself. I just ignored her and went to the door. Just when I was about to step outside, Drew was standing in front of me.

"Excuse me." I groaned.

"Emma wait." He took a grip on my shoulders.

"Get out of the way dork heads." A lady behind me said. Oh right, we were already blocking the way.

"I'm sorry I was being a jerk earlier." He grabbed my hand.

"Yeah you were." I quickly let go of his hand.

"I just don't want you talking to other guys."

"What? Did you think I was flirting with that guy?" I can't help but get more furious. What was he thinking?

"Well he was obviously hitting on you." He whined.

"Then apparently it wasn't my fault. I was just being nice."

I was about to leave when he squeezed my hand tightly and grabbed me by the side of the door. I leaned on the wall and he extended his left hand, placing his palms on the wall. It seems like he's trying to keep me from walking away. Our face is just inches apart and we stared at each other's eyes. He bend his head closer to mine and he closed his eyes, touching my lips with his. I want to push him away but part of me can't resist it. We continued kissing as I placed both of my hands on his neck. 'This is wrong. He's drunk.' I thought to myself. He brushed my hair with his hand and I can't help but stare at his deep dark brown eyes. They are so beautiful.

"We always find ourselves falling for the unexpected person." He whispered gently to my ears.

I just felt my heart skipped a beat. I was just about to say something when a familiar voice spoke behind us.

"Whoa! Easy there love birds."

We turned our heads and were a little bit shocked to see Alex and James standing behind us. 'This is so awkward.' I thought.

"We were just uhm..." My voice is trembling as I am trying to explain what had just happened a while ago. I can't even tell the way James is looking at me right now. He seemed surprise to see me too.

"So James meet Emma. Emma meet James." Alex said as James shakes his hands with mine. He smiled and I did the same too. Now we're being pretentious.

"Bro." James hugged Drew.

'Wait. What the fuck is going on around here? Is this some kind of a joke? Why did James called Drew 'bro'? I think I deserve an explanation.' I can't help but overthink about what's happening here. Realizing that my relationship with James for almost three years was just nothing hurts like hell. How come I haven't met Drew and Alex before? Was I really his girlfriend?

Drew's POV

I can't believe what had just happened earlier. Me kissing Emma directly like that was the greatest feeling I've ever felt before. I thought she would pushed me away and get angry but instead she continued kissing me. She even placed her hands around my neck. Well I guess the alcohol getting into my head was really helpful. It boost my confidence and eagerness to do such thing. 'And wait, what did I just said? We always find ourselves falling for the unexpected person? Damn Drew, you always mess up everything' my thoughts are killing me. Now I just hoped everything will be fine after what happened. I don't wanna make her mad anymore.

"Bro." I hugged James back, tapping his back gently.

It feels good to have him back. Even though I don't like his dad and he's just my half brother, I still care about him. Knowing that the sudden death of our mother was not easy for the both of us, I'm kinda happy to see him back to his old self again. Even if we fight a lot we're still siblings and apparently, he's the only family I have left.

"It's nice to see you again, man." I grin.

"Yeah me too." James beamed.

"I didn't know you too are seeing each other. I thought you hate each other." Alex laugh. He is clearly referring to Emma and I.

"Oh no, we were just.. talking." Emma respond. She looked at me with confusion in her eyes.

"Well whatever it is I hope you two are happy." Alex chuckled and hugged the both of us. He is clearly drunk. "This is going to be a long night so just drink, chill and enjoy the party!" Alex shouted as he raised up his bottle of beer and left.
