Zane wanted to help Aphmau so he went to Garroth and explained the whole situation. He understood but he didn't like it. Of course he didn't say anything to Zane because he might go and tell Aphmau. So he said he understood just fine and invited Zane to stay a while. He refused and went back to his home. What Garroth was really planning was finding this Aaron guy and killing him. Then Aphmau would have no choice but to marry him.
