August's POV
More than two years of friendship.
Nineteen months together as a couple.
And we're already two months engaged now, and planning to marry each other on February 14, 2014.
Sobrang excited na ako ngayon gabi, 19th monthsary kasi namin ngayon. Uumpisahan na din namin ang pagpa-plano sa nalalapit na kasal namin sa Pebrero. Sobrang saya ko na ikakasal na kami ni Julie, ang girlfriend...ehem.... fiancee ko pala.
Julie and I first met each other sa isang orphanage. Isa ako sa malaki ang shares ng donation sa orphanage na yun, at si Julie, isa sya sa mga volunteers na nag-aalaga sa mga bata duon kapag free time nya. Nung unang kita ko pa lang sa kanya, alam ko na she's the one for me. Nung una hindi pa kami masyadong nagpapansinan, natorpe din naman kasi ako bigla.
Then, one day, while I was at my office, pumasok yung secretary ko na may nag-aaply daw na bagong designer sa company namin. Yes, I own a company here in Manila, we're a clothing company na gumagawa ng damit para sa mga lalake. And then, sumulpot si Julie sa bukana ng pintuan ng office ko, we were both shocked to see each other at that time, kasi hindi naman talaga namin alam ang buhay ng isa't-isa, hindi namin expected na halos pareho lang kami ng larangan na pinasukan. Of course, I accepted her, she's a good designer...... Well, more on I just want to know her better.
