Lucas' P.O.V

Joshua Matthews is a good friend. He always takes care of his niece Riley and nephew Auggie. He walked Maya and Riley home after they went to his college party. He treats others the way he'd want to be treated. Why do I hate him? I don't know. How can I hate Riley's uncle? How come I hate Farkle and Zay's Pal. How can I hate Maya's crush? I don't see why Maya likes him. I just can't get my head around it. Josh is a nice guy Lucas. That is why she likes him. Why can't see like me? Do I like Maya? Of course I do. She's funny, smart. beautiful. She's perfect. I'm jealous of Josh over Maya.

"Ranger Rick. Truth or dare" Maya said snapping me out of my thoughts. Of course. I'm in Riley's room. Hanging out with Maya, Riley,  Zay, Farkle, Smackle and Josh.

"Oh right. Truth" I reply.

"Did you make out with Missy Bradford yesterday in the janitor's closet?" she asks me.

"No that is just a rumour" I say." My turn. Josh truth or dare"

"Truth" he says.

"Do you like Maya the way she likes you?" I ask him. I know he has a college girlfriend. They was on the subway yesterday night.

"Yes she is my friend and I'm hers" he says"Riley truth or dare"

"Dare" she says"but it will be my first and last"

"Ok. I dare you to kiss Farkle" he says while putting his arm around Maya in  friendly way but it still killing me, I can feel my anger burning out

Riley smiled and blushed and gave Farkle a sweet kiss on the cheek.

"Zay truth or dare" Riley asks Zay.

"always dare" he responds with his mouth fall of chips.

" I dare you to tell us who's Lucas' crush" she says.

"How is that a dare? Its more like  a truth" Farkle says. He's right.

"Yes but is he daring enough to embarrass Lucas" he relpies.

"Ok. He fancies the  Blonde Beauty. The Blonde Beauty is a part of the group" Zay smirks. I need revenge, now Maya knows I like her.

"Lucas talks about himself like that." Maya laughs. 

"No. He means you" Zay says.

"Don't be stupid Zay" she says."besides we're just friends"

Just friends Lucas. Thats all you are to her. Thats all you'll ever be. Thats not going to change.

 "Ok. Then next question. Smackle truth or dare." Zay asks Smackle. They both like each other. I can tell when Zay likes a girl, he smiles more, laughs more and tells more jokes and he always is like that around Smackle. 

"Truth" she responds.

"If I was to ask you out. What would you say?" 

"YES"

"Really. You like me? Cause I really like you. I love how your hair smell like lavender. I love you clothes. You're beautiful on the outside, but you are even more beautiful on the outside" he tells her.

"You like me two Zay. Finally. I've liked you since the first day of high school. wYour clumsy, funny cute, kind and special to me." she replies

"Zay. Will you be my boyfriend?" Smackle asks him knowing the answer.

"HEE-HAW. Yes. How about us to go on a double date right now with Riley and Farkle"

"Yep" Smackle, Riley and Farkle said in unison. 

As they was putting tier coats on Riley tells us to stay because Auggie is in bed and to check on him as we probable woke him. They left and it was now Maya, Josh and me. Just my luck.

"I'll go check on Auggie."Maya says smiles and she leaves Riley's room.

"So. You like Maya?" Josh asks me in a kind tone. Josh is a nice guy, Lucas son't lose your temper. It will only make Maya made at you and you don't want that.

"No" I reply coldly.

"You do. I can tell by the way you look at her. Maya is a gorgeous girl you know. She's funny and kind as well. She is one of my greatest friends. I think she likes you two." he says.

"Really. Thats way she is always sitting next to you when you come; talking her head of but except for today. She is quiet. Are you two secretly dating but your making Maya keep my mouth closed so  it would look like a college junior was dating a high school junior? Because if you are, you're an idiot. Any guy that gets Maya is lucky. She is the most beautiful girl I know. If any one hurts her, I will hurt them" I respond pinning him to wall.

"No. Me and Maya are just friends. She knows that. If you're jealous. Go tell Maya how you feel instead of denying it as that will get you nowhere in her heart." he reponds calmly."Go Lucas. I know she likes you."

I do as he says. I leave Riley's room and enter Auggie's where Maya has got him into bed.

"Hey Huckleberry. I need to talk to you in the kitchen" she says and walks to me. She grabs my hand as we walk to the kitchen. I felt sparks as she grabs my hand.

We arrive at the kitchen and she lets go.

"Lucas do you-

I stop her by kissing her. I felt fireworks rushing through my body. She kisses me back with passion.

"You two are finally together" Josh says as he walks into the room getting a glass of  pop.

"Yes and I'm glad" we both say together
