By noon, the children had become exhausted from volleyball, and headed inside for lunch. They took their seats at a gigantic banquet table, small in comparison to the magnificent ballroom where they were.
"Please, dear friends, let us be thankful and let us be joyous." Angelo stood, raising a glass in cheers, "to Family and to Peace." He called, taking a sip, the assembled family echoed him and followed suit.
"Now, please begin!" He continued, gesturing at the table laden with soups, cheeses, and breads. They helped themselves, chatting happily to one another as they began eating. After the majority of the table had finished their first course, Angelo stood again, raising his hand for silence, which he obtained quickly.
"Now, we have a new member, Je te présente Ryan!" He motioned for him to stand, "Now, bear with us, we have twenty-seven names, not including myself, to tell you." He cleared his throat, going counter clockwise, naming each of them. Ryan made a list in his head, picking one detail to assign to them:

Mary; big sister
Carolyn; redhead
John; blue hair

"Are we ready for the main course?" Mary asked, standing up and motioning Andy and Sadie over.
"Yes, thank you Mary." Angelo nodded and the trio exited, coming back in with a huge dish of turkey and boiled vegetables. "Bon appétit!"Mari smiled as she, Andy and Sadie placed down the food and returned to their seats. Angelo closed his eyes for a moment, then heard Ryan speaking.
"With all due respect," he began, "why does Angelo get the head of the table?"
