Luna's POV

I really thought he would want to see me again. I thought he would be happy, I'm like his other f&cking half. Literally. Well... kinda literally. I mean he's my twin after all.
These thoughts fill my mind as I watch my friend's mouth open and close repeatedly as she rambles on about something I'm not paying attention to.
"Holy mother of hell," she freezes and becomes stiff as she looks somewhere behind me, and then I hear it. His voice. That deep voice that I fell in love with before I ran away.
"I didn't know it was you until Mikey told me," he sighs, even though he's behind me I can imagine him running his hand through his matted down hair... oh how much I miss that cute little quiff, "You've changed so much."
I turn around, only then do I notice how close he is to me, "I'm not the only one," I mumble shyly.
"I looked for you...," he trailed off as if he was going to say something else, but never did, allowing me to let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"I know you did," I look down at our feet, noticing how our toes are touching.
"Then why wasn't that enough. Why was I never enough for you, Luna," he tries putting  his tender hand on my cheek, but I shrug away from his touch.
"You know what I was going through...," I sigh, a long, deep sigh, "I'm sorry, but I just can't," and with that I walk away, not just from him, but from everyone, and I don't stop until I'm staring into the mirror, looking at the person looking back at me. Someone I barely recognize.
"It happens to the best of us," someone says from the doorway of my bedroom.
"What the hell?" I notice bright red from the corner of my eye, "what the f&ck are you talking about?"
"Don't try hiding it. I know you better than you know yourself," he walks into my room and sits on my bed so we can see each other in the shattered mirror, "Don't worry, if I can still recognize you, then you can still recognize yourself. Remember that," and then he leaves.
