Chapter 13

(Alastor's POV)

I looked at the notes to see where the machine is, i was going to find and activate this machine. I had to i can't let Blake get hurt by any more of my mother's kind, by the looks of it the machine was in D.C but i couldn't tell where. I sighed and looked over the drawing of the machine just then it hit me i know where it is! I jumped up hitting my side in the process i held my side and went to bed before i hit anything else. I walked into my room to see Blake sleeping peacefully i smiled and pecked his lips while crawling in front of him. I watched as he smiled in his sleep just before i fell asleep i mumbled "tomorrow i will save your kinds life and kill the things you despise." and with that i fell asleep.

(In The Morning)

I woke up to the smell of bacon, i rolled over and got out of bed and headed downstairs. I walked into the kitchen to see Blake cooking bacon, eggs, and pancakes. I smiled and walked towards him and wrapped my arms around his waist, he leaned into me and continued cooking. "It's almost ready." he said "hn" i said kissed his neck, he prepared our plates and handed me one. We sat down and began eating "Blake" he looked up at me "we're going some where today so once your done get ready." i said. "Where are we going?" he asked "it's a surprise." i say he nodded and finished eating. I waited downstairs with my keys in my hand and the notes on how to start the machine, Blake came downstairs smiling oh how i loved his smile. "Ready?" he nodded and  we walked out to the car, we got in and began driving to where the machine was..... the Washington monument. After driving for a while i pulled up in front of the monument Blake looked at me "what are we doing here?" he asked. I sighed and thought i might as well explain "there's a machine here that will get rid of all demons." his face lit up. "We-we can get them to leave, you and i can finally live without any worries." he said smiling. My heart sunk "what are you waiting for Alastor lets go!" he said dragging me towards the monument. I stayed quiet as we ran towards where the machine should be. Sooner or later i will have to tell him that today is the last day he will see me.

(Blake's POV)

Alastor's hiding something and something tells me i won't like it. I turned around to see Alastor looking down with sad eye's, no i wasn't going to like the news at all.
