[ Washington High school in D.C]
"Hey mute." i rolled my eyes i was selectively mute and haven't talked since 5th grade year, now i'm a freshman in high school. I closed my locker and tried to walk away only to be slammed against my locker. "Oh no you don't we still owe you for that prank you pulled." the leader said cracking his knuckles they punched me in the jaw and stomach repeaditly and once i was on the ground they began to kick my stomach i could feel the bruises forming. Suddenly there was an explosion the school began to shake "lets get out of here!" the bullies yelled running off. I stayed still because of how much pain i was in the last thing i saw was their disappearing forms.
(3 Day Time Skip)
My eyelids felt heavy i tried my hardest to open my eyes, after a few attempts they finally opened. I looked around to see i was still in the school hallway except it was in ruins the walls had holes in them and every light was of except for one flickering one.(Pretty much the pic above except it's dark and only one lights on.) I looked around to see the shattered glass from the windows a large piece of it was lodged in my leg. I carefully got up ignoring the pain in my leg i looked out the window to see people running from demons! My breath hitched the gates of hell had opened.
