Chapter 14

(Dead's POV)

I was sitting waiting for the guy i sent out to watch Alastor to come back. The man i was waiting for walked through the door and bowed in front of me. "Dead on Alastor's last mission he took secret documents on His research and is heading towards the machine now." I slammed my hands down "why isn't he dead!? now he can destroy everything i made in this world!" i yelled. He ducked his head as i threw my wine glass at him "teams are in pursuit as we speak." i smirked "good."

(Alastor's POV)

I stopped once i smelt demons approaching fast i quickly took Blake's hand and ran full speed towards the machine. After a few turns we were standing in front of the machine it's self i quickly brought out the notes. "Okay this says we need a drop of humans blood and a drop of demons blood." i say "then i guess we should kill the human first." i turned to see Dead's men. I quickly pulled Blake behind me "orders from Dead he wants you both... well dead." one said the others laugh i growl. They charged at me at me and i attacked them.

(Blake's POV)

I watched as Alastor killed them all with ease as he walked back i heard him mutter under his breath "they we're all gonna die any way." i grabbed his arm. "What do you mean?" i asked he looked at me with sad eye's "this machine doesn't send us back to our world." "w-what?" i asked what is he talking about? "Th-Then what does it do?" "It......It kills us." my heart stops this is going to kill him?no,no,no,no,no! Alastor began to walk towards the machine, i tackled him "Blake! get off i need to do this so you can live without demons!" i shook my head. "NO i won't let you turn it on not if it means losing you!" i yell, i jump off him and stood far away from the machine. "As long as you don't have any of my blood it won't work-" i was cut off "yes it will." I looked up "what?" he starred at me while cutting his wrist "I'm half of both remember." he said while his blood touched the machine. It began to glow "NO!" i yelled but soon a wave was released and Alastor fell to the ground spitting up blood. "Alastor!" i yelled and ran towards him, i kneeled by him, he smiled up at me. I felt tears begin to fall down my cheeks, he grabbed my hand "all demons will die in the next minute." "no! no! you can't leave me!" i yelled. Alastor pulled my head down and kissed me "i love you Blake." and with that he turned to dust. "ALASTOR!" i yelled crying why did he leave me.

(1 month later)

Ever since that day everyone has gone back to their happy demon-less lives, except me. I haven't slept or eaten much since he died, I was snapped out of my thoughts by a knock at the door. I slowly got up and opened the door to see.......... Alastor in his human form, without thinking i hugged him. "I missed you so much Blake." i pulled away "how? the machine-you're a demon." i stammered. "I'm only half demon remember, when the machine went off it only killed my demon side, when it did that it transported me somewhere else and i was no longer able to change into a demon." he said. "Does this mean your human and staying?" he nodded "yup until i die of old age with you." I smiled and kissed him, once we broke the kiss for air he guided my hand to his heart. "Can you feel my heart?" i nodded, he pecked my lips "good cause it only beats for you."
