The yellow light dissipates in front of me. It's familiar. I turn around to find a tall God standing behind me, arms crossed, with a stern, questioning look on his face. His true form never fails to fascinate me: those glowing white, pupil-less eyes, a long white, hooded robe covering his lengthy gold hair, and massive feathery wings, one black and one white. A sun-like halo hovers behind his head, illuminating his presence. The God of Libra.

"Scorpio, what do you think you're doing with those dark crystals?" He says seriously. "That's dangerous magic you're playing with, magic that you have no business using."

Scorpio's eyes flash, "And what gives you the right to tell me my business?"

"I have close ties with the dean of this academy and I advise you to get out of my sight if you want to continue your studies at this institution." Libra booms. "Unless you want to be banished."

Wow he's so cool. Yeah you tell him Libra!!

Scorpio scoffs and gradually the red skies and chaos vanish as if it hadn't been there at all. Before leaving the garden, Scorpio shoots me a chilling glare that sends tingles down my spine. Gulp. He's gone but his dangerous presence lingers

A moment of silence passes before we all let out a sigh of relief.

"That was amazing, Libra. Thanks so much for saving us. We were so dead for a second there." I say gratefully.

"Yeah you really showed him!!" Gemma chimes in with a grin, giving him a thumbs up of approval.

Libra returns to his normal form, his lavender pupils returning and his white robes replaced by his normal clothing. He smiles at us, "No problem. I don't know what the two of you are doing in front of the gods' dorms but if you guys leave now, I'll let you off the hook since it seems like you've already experienced quite a night."

Gemma giggles quietly, "Don't worry, it'll be like you never saw us." With one last nod of gratitude to Libra, we quickly sneak back to our dorms.

"Woohooo that was awesome!!" Gemma shouts, sinking back into her bed. We're safely back at the dorms, far far away from the danger we were in only about 15 minutes ago.

"Shhhhh, it's late." I hush her. "And no, that was not awesome, we could've been done for!"

Gemma rubs her throat uncomfortably but nevertheless wears a bright smile, "At least we got what we were looking for." She winks.

"Wait what?? We didn't even come close to-"

Before I finish my sentence, Gemma throws a small black notebook at me. Catching it and holding it in my hands, my eyes grow wide. "Is this what I think it is?"

"C'mon, Aqua, you seriously thought I'd leave without it?"

"But how-when-"

"When he was holding me up, I saw it in his pocket and when you were distracting him, I quickly slipped it out." She puffs up her chest proudly.

"Oh my Zeus! You're amazing."

"I know." She laughs and pats her bed, "Sit down, I want to see what Scorpy's been hiding all this time."

I take a seat next to Gemma on her bed with my fingers holding the cover of the book. I take in a deep breathe. Not going to lie, half of me is ecstatically curious to know what is in the journal but the other, is scared of what I might find.

Finally, with one jolt of courage, I try to open the book...but it doesn't budge.

"What's taking you so long?" Gemma inquires.
