Claire woke up with a pounding headache and an upset stomach. She sat up taking in her surroundings. She didn't know what really happened last night, but then the memories came back flooding her mind.

She remembered the boy who made her night so much fun and comfortable. She remembered them dancing, laughing and drinking a lot. She smiled at the memories. She didn't want that night to end. She never wanted that night to end.

She got up and looked at the mirror seeing her reflection. She was still in her dress from last night and her make up smeared from sleeping.

She sighed and cleaned herself up so she could go relax by the pool. Once she was ready, she headed straight for the pool so she couldn't look at the breakfast food that was lingering in her nose as she walked through the grand hallways of the hotel. Even though she stayed at the Caesar's Palace, the place was huge and very easy to get lost.

She finally found the pool seeing various adults and teens lounging around the area. She took a seat close to the pool and relaxed.

It wasn't until a little later a shadow appeared to be blocking the sunlight. She groaned and opened her eyes seeing her friend, Danielle, looking at her with her pale eyes.

"Oh my god there you are!" she said putting both of her hands on her hips, "We were looking all over for you!"

"Oh I'm sorry. I was just relaxing-" but Claire was immediately interrupted by Danielle telling her that they almost called the cops on her because they couldn't find her at the party.

"I was really tired and a little tipsy so I left" Claire simply said making Danielle roll her eyes.

"Last night was your bachelorette party and it bothered me that you had no fun what so ever!" Danielle said taking a seat next to Claire as she took off her shirt.

"I had fun with the boy" Claire muttered.

"What was that, Claire?" Danielle asked  her.

Claire looked up and shook her head. "Nothing, Dani."

Danielle smiled and checked her phone. Claire rolled her eyes and looked around the pool. She immediately spotted someone very familiar to her and then she remembered. The boy.

He was at the snack stand getting a plate of food and carrying it around on a big tray. Claire looked at him with a smile. She immediately got up and started running after him.

"Claire, where are you going?" Danielle yelled as Claire sprinted towards him.

Once Claire reached him, he looked at her with a shocked expression.

"Wow, I never knew you were a runner" he said making her laugh as she breathed heavily.

"I did track in high school, but that doesn't matter" Claire said out of breath.

They stared at each other for a moment with a smile on their faces. Both were very happy to see each other looking vibrant and alive.

"Claire!" yelled Danielle coming over to her. Claire looked back and sighed seeing Danielle strutting over to her.

"Honestly, you scare me so much sometimes- oh, who's this?" Danielle asked looking at the boy with a flirty smile.

"Um this is..." Claire looked at him with a worried look. She never got his name last night.

"Jack," he said smiling "and you are?"

Danielle flipped her long brown hair. "Danielle and single!"

Claire rolled her eyes and chuckled a bit. "Danielle has always been single since her father doesn't approve of many boys, isn't that right Dani?"

Danielle looked at Claire with a hatred look. "Yes, Claire, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't care if I hung out with Jack here."

Jack chuckled. "Well, I was hoping I could hang out with you."

Danielle's face lit up. "Oh me? Well, of course you can!"

Jack looked at her. "I was actually talking to Claire, but maybe some other time we can hang out, Danielle."

Danielle's smile immediately faded and she stomped her way back to the pool chair where she began sobbing and calling her friends.

Claire couldn't help but start laughing. "That was great."

Jack smiled. "Now shall we?"

She looked at Jack's arm and nodded her head. She took his arm and they were off on another adventure.
