Softball Update

So this is my second softball game this season. The last one got called in the middle of it. So this was my first full game this season. I missed that first four games because the coach didn't have our number. But it's fine now.

I stared out at Shortstop but I'm rusty because I wasn't able to practice at all so my coach moved me to Left Field. (Behind third base) I'm great there. My coach and my dad said that I back up third base really well.

My dad said that there's no shame in being moved to Left Field. It's a great posturing for me and I'm really good at it.

We had an extra inning because of the tied score. The other team one by one point.

They got bases by walking and we got them by hitting. So I think that's good.

The score was -18 to 19-

I got new shoes and they're really nice. I like them. I also got new batting gloves because the other ones are too small.

Story

So someone was on third base and then someone on their team hit he ball. I was at Left Field at this time and I was getting the rules of what to do now. (Although I understood more during the rest of the game)

So (of course) the third baseman starts running to home plate. The ball was thrown to third base because someone was running there. But the ball was over thrown and they made it. The person though, was still running to home base. So grabbed the over thrown ball and go to throw it to home (I have a strong arm so I'm able to).

But the catcher was standing where the runner is in between us. So I throw the ball and it hits the runner.

When the runner got back to the (place where your at when you're not hitting. What's it called?)

Her team mates asked if she was alright and she said: "I'm alright. But the ball hit me in the butt!"

Me and another team Mate just laughed at this.

After he game the coach said that he laughed when the ball hit the girl. (Not meanly)

Story Over

I got upset a bit during the game. I wasn't being a bad sport or anything.
It was just Anxiety and confusion mixed.
I wish my dog was there.
