It's hard to believe, although it is true, that I used to rarely smile.
It was not too many years ago (forgot how many) when I had trouble smiling.
I'm not kidding. If I wasn't really happy about something, or laughing at a joke, I didn't smile.
I could barely smile for pictures. I literally did not know how to.
I would try to whenever my mom said to smile (in general or in pictures), but I just couldn't.
My aunt literally was the one to teach me how to smile in pictures.
You know how some people need to be taught how to throw a ball?
Well, I needed to be taught how to fake smile.
We all had/have our things. Don't judge.
I would smile a lot in front of my friends because I was so happy with them.
But I rarely smiled with my family. Now let me tell you, that made my mom mad.
"Why are you not smiling? You have no reason not to smile."
How should I know?
