"You should get some sleep, Marble", Twilight suggested. Marble looked up at her and said, "H-home?" Twilight's face fell, and she said, "You looked like you could a new family, kid, cheer up." Twilight frowned and looked at her paws, "look, the truth is that I was bored, okay, I'm tired of regular camp life." "Camp?", said Marble, still quite confused with the pace that things were going at. Twilight looked up and said, "I want to introduce you to the rest of the group". And with that Twilight led Marble to the edge of the "camp", they padded under a large over hang in the back wall that was made of rough stone. There was lichen hanging over the opening of the small cave, Twilight brushed past it and nodded her head towards the over hang. Marble dipped his head and hesitantly stepped into the cave, he was met by five new cats and Twilight. Twilight grinned and said, "these are my friends who live in the camp with me, this is Flame, Lily, Molasses, Root, and Moonshine. Marble noticed the small tom he had seen earlier that day and nodded to him. Flame lowered his head and stared at the dirt and grass floor. There was also a brown and cream colored she-cat that Twilight introduced as Lily, she bounced lightly and had hazel eyes. Molasses was a large, brown tom that had light blue eyes with speckles of darker blue in them, he had a protective and reclusive demeanor that was quite intimidating. Root was small and feeble with black fur and greenish yellow eyes, he eyed Marble as if sizing him up and when Marble looked at him Root would turn up his nose snootily. Last was Moonshine, she looked reserved and respectable, she had dark navy fur and a white, circle mark around her left eye. Moonshine looked up quickly at Marble, and when she saw him looking at her she suddenly shifted her eyes to Twilight. "Nice to meet you all", said Marble. "guys this is Marble", said Twilight. "U- umm.... where is Saige", asked Flame quietly. "Oh! I almost forgot, Saige is sleeping up on the rock", said Twilight. "I'll get her", said Root in an arrogant voice. Marble could instantly tell he wasn't going to like Root. A few minutes later Root came back with a small, stubby tabby cat with dappled fur. She had hazel eyes and looked like Lily, Lily and Flame smiled at each other then at Saige. "Mooommmmyyy!", yelled Saige, and she scampered to Lily and skidded to a halt in front of her and slipped. Lily laughed and then picked Saige up by her scruff. Flame nuzzled Lily and smiled warmly as Lily purred. "I need to show Marble some things, you are all dismissed", said Twilight. She looked at Marble and nodded him out of the cave. Once they were out of the cave Twilight asked Marble nervously, "So, umm, how were they." I hesitated as I thought of Root and then told her, " I like them all, but Root seems a bit arrogant." Twilight smiled warmly and said, "They are like family to me." Marble blinked and looked up at Twilight, she sniffed and Marble caught the glimmer of a tear on her whisker. "Let's go", said Twilight and she padded towards the right side of the camp, there was undergrowth and brush scattered all over the right wall and dense foliage made a protective barrier around a small portion of the camp. "This is where everyone sleeps", said Twilight. She followed Twilight in from a small gap in the bushes and trees, in the sleeping area were patches of moss and grass. "You can make a place to sleep later", she said. As soon as she said that Marble noticed that there were six "beds" scattered around the area. Twilight stepped out of the sleeping area and walked to the over hang once again, this time she headed to the back of the large rock and she jumped from rocks that led to the top of the over hang. With the sun up high in the sky, the rock felt warm on Marble's claws. This is the announcement rock, we make important decisions here, like when we decided weather Lily and Flame should of had a kitten or not. In the end we decided it would be alright, and that turned out to be that spunky squirt over there, she looked to the center of the camp where Saige was rapidly flying around the camp, pouncing the ground. "The sun is going down, we better get to the sleeping area", said Twilight. With that, they padded over to the foliage at the right side of the camp. When Marble got to the sleeping area, he found an empty spot and gathered moss, grass, and straw to make his bed. He settled into his bed, shifted until he was comfortable, and closed his eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.
