Marble woke up and for a minute he forgot where he was and panicked, but then he remembered. "Oh yeah", he mumbled. He heard rustling and looked over and saw Twilight shift and then get up and begin to wash herself, she looked over and noticed Marble. She nodded at him and padded out of the sleeping area, Marble decided to follow her. She looked behind her and smiled to see him following her, "You should go talk with the others", she said, "They want to get to know you." "Where would they be?" She gazed at him and said, "In the den" "Okay", Marble mumbled, then he walked off. He padded back into the den to see Moonshine, Lily, and Root were awake. Moonshine gave him a quick glance and Lily's smile was pretty much a ray of sun, the difference between the two was shocking. Root glared at the two and then said in his high, annoying voice, "Why are you two so nice to him, everything was fine until he showed up." Lily rolled her eyes and said "You're just jealous, Root." "N-no I'm not!!!", exclaimed Root. Lily giggled and asked Marble if he would help her hunt, Marble replied, "Sure!" Root gave Marble a look of pure hatred as he and Lily walked out of the sleeping den. "Sooo", Lily said as she looked at Marble with a sly grin, "How did you meet Twilight?" Marble felt embarrassed as he remembered his first encounter with the mysterious she-cat. "U-ummm, well, I just ran into her", Marble said rather literally. "Ok", Lily said. Marble loved how laid back and easy to talk to Lily was. They walked in a well natured silence until they got to a dense part of the forest where she stopped and said, "This is where we hunt for food." Marble once again was embarrassed to say he didn't know how to hunt. Suddenly she said, "Ok let's go." "Wait!" He yelled as she pounded into the foliage. Marble almost lost her, but when she heard Marble she turned around and cocked her head to the side, "I don't know how to hunt", Marble said ashamed. She looked at him a moment then she started laughing until she fell on the ground. When she finally stopped laughing she got up and said, "I'll teach you to hunt." She walked Marble to a small, sandy hollow. "This is where I will teach you to hunt", Said Lily. They got to it as fast as they could and in about an hour and a half, Marble could catch a mouse at least. "Great! Your improving a lot, Marble", Exclaimed Lily. They got back to the camp and then they went to the over hang and found Moonshine with her head in her paws, sleeping on the sun rock. "She does this a lot", Said Lily. Marble smiled and helped Lily carry Moonshine to the den, they set her down and took a walk the perimeter around the camp. Once they got back, it was almost night fall and there was a beautiful sunset. "I love sunsets", Said Lily. "Yeah", Replied Marble. Then, after watching the sunset they went back to the den and went to bed. Marble woke up refreshed and trotted over to the over hang and found Moonshine sitting alone blinking at the sky. "Hi", Said Marble. Moonshine looked up startled and gave Marble a measly smile. "Do you want to take a walk with me?" Marble asked. Moonshine's eyes shot up and looked surprised. She quickly nodded her head once. Marble stood up and Moonshine followed him out of the burnt camp. Marble walked to a forest of willow trees swaying in the slight breeze and stopped on a rock that over looked a valley full of willow trees. Moonshine smiled and Marble looked at her, she looked back down.
