A life to be free

I awoke on the island alone and somewhat scared. My clothes were ripped to shreds by the storm as well as being soaked. I stood up on the golden shore that I was sitting on and looked around, there was large cliffs with a couple of rocks hanging out. There was no other way up apart from climbing the rocks, therefore I did so. The rocks were slippery due to the waves crashing against them as if were playing tag. I staggered and slipped around but finally reached the top. At the top I then saw where I had landed.

I was on an island as far as I could tell, it had vast forestry that looked like it had merged into jungle like territory. There was two mountains that overlapped each other...or are they volcanos? Either way the forest was growing up the sides of them giving them a tropical look. There was little bluebells and amaryllis, Azalea and Hibiscus, as well as Zinnia and Delphinium.

There was no sign of my parents or sister but then, I'll be better off without their greed.

I decided to venture further into the forest to see if there was any civilisation, the forest was lush and green as if the forest was perfect. There were a series of little streams that were beautiful shades of blue. The water was untainted by any mud or anything, fresh and clean enough to eat. I bent down and cupped my hands, I dipped them into the cool water of the stream bringing them out again and taking a sip of the water. The water was lovely, not tasting like water at all but strawberries!

I followed the stream and came across a larger river, its water seemed to rage on so I followed the river to keep a better knowledge of where I am, and then I can find the beach again if I shall need to. The river calmed further upstream making it able to cross with ease, as I did so fish came swimming past my feet tickling me and making me fall over. As I sat in the water I looked up to the sky, the sky was a light blue, beautiful and untarnished by human kind. It was really beautiful, an oasis in the middle of the sea...no a lost paradise. The island of the gods. As soon as I thought this I shot up to be greeted with a small pleasure that I was allowed on.

I have no greed thus I was set free from my greed driven family, I was happy to be on the island where I could do anything I wanted. Over a couple of days debris from ships floated onto the island containing clothes and shoes and more. One was a little chest which contained a small collection of white dresses. I took out three of them and walked back into the forest. I altered the dresses using natural material like vines from near the mountains to create my dress style.

I now wear a white dress that comes to my knees, wrapped with green lush vines that never wilt. I ware no shoes and not hide my face as I have no secrets, I just live to be free. I found a Hyperion California tree which has a thick trunk, the trunk in this case was hollow as if was made to live in, therefore I happily called it home.
