I kissed him, but it didn't feel right at all. He was too vicious about it and his lips were chapped.
"Scene!" The director yells. I pull away from my costar instantly and catch my breath. I hear someone clapping slowly, but I could tell it was sarcastic. I looked to my side to see Nick standing there.
"Hey baby." I smiled and walked over to him, standing up from the bed that was on set. He kissed me quick and put his hand on the small of my back. My costar, Brad, came over and told me that my acting was great.
"Thanks Brad," I looked over to Nick and introduced them," Nick, this is my costar Brad. Brad, this is my boyfriend Nick." I smiled back and forth at them.
"Fiancé." Nick confirmed, shaking Brad's hand with a firm grip. We've been engaged for a few months now.
"Fiancé. Sorry, I'm still getting used to it." I smiled and giggled a bit. Brad nodded stiffly and smiled towards me, and said that he'd see me in a couple of days.
"Someone's jealous." I teased Nick, as I turned to him and smiled like a big goofball.
"No." He confirms, but I can see the look in his eyes. I roll my own eyes and we walk out to the car, Nick's grip on mine firmly. In a territorial way.
"Why are you so upset over it?! I had one little screw up Nick! Are you just waiting for me to mess up and then leave me broken hearted? Because that's really what it's looking like." I shout to him. He runs his hands through his hair and growls under his breath.
"I'm not waiting for you to screw up Ly. I just feel like you disrespected our relationship by just playing it off like it was nothing. That was what set me off." Nick says to me through gritted teeth, trying to keep his cool.
"Whenever I forget something little or...or mess it up, you get mad at me! Do you have some sort of expectation for me? Because I clearly can't reach it." I frustratingly ran my hand through my long, blonde hair and shook it out. I was huffing and puffing, and I was bad at hiding it.
"I-"
"You know what? I don't want to hear it Nick." With that, I strutted with my heels click clacking into the other room. I slammed the door and leaned against it, sliding down to the floor. I was breathing heavy, and I began to cry as hard as I tried not to.
"Baby." Nick knocked on the door. I just shook my head and let out a small whimper. He tried to push open the door and I didn't resist. I didn't have any strength really. Nick came in the room and quietly closed the door. I moved over against the wall right next to the door, and he sat next to me. He put his arm around me, but I pushed him away. Right when I did it, I regretted it. Reluctantly, I leaned into his side and cried on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry baby. I went a little overboard with it. And only because you messed up on our relationship label. It was dumb." He rubs my upper arm up and down comfortingly and I let a small smile creep on my lips.
"I just can't believe that we're engaged." I look at my ring as it glistens in the evening sunset. It had to of costed a fortune.
"I can't either. It's a dream come true." He kisses the side of me head and I sniff back the rest of my tears. As we're still sitting on the floor, I look up at his brown eyes and plant a soft, tender kiss on his lips. He gives in and his hands make their way to my waist. I'm pulled onto his lap and we kiss even more.
"I love you so much baby." He murmurs to me, putting one of his hands in my messy hair. I bite his lip and a moan comes from him. I lead my lips to his neck, finding the sweet spot.
"Liyah." He groans, gripping my hair even harder.
"I have no control when it comes to you." Nick says to me before we go much further.
As we lay in bed, I put my head on his naked chest. I kiss it softly as he puts a hand in my hair, running his fingers through it in a continuous matter. I make a 'mm' noise and he kisses my head. All of a sudden, Nick's phone starts to ring.
"Hello?" He answers, putting it on speaker. He lays back in the pillow and listens.
"Nick. Come back to me baby. I need you." It's a woman's voice. A hiccup follows the drunken plea and I have to hold back my laughter.
Nick mouths to me," It's my ex."
"Oh." I whisper, smirking.
"Olivia. You're drunk." Nick groans and speaks clearly to the phone.
"I need you. I need you in bed with me." Apparently Olivia was also the emotional drunk. Funny. Nick had told me about her, and she sounded very nice. But he said things didn't end very well between them. She cheated on him.
"Goodbye Liv." Nick rolls his eyes and hangs up the phone.
"You literally are so sexy right now I can't even handle it." I smile at him and Nick's lips meet mine for another magical moment.
