“LUNA!” A voice squealed, piercing through the soft haze of sleep that was surrounding me. I groaned, diving further into my bed sheets.

“LU-NAH!” The voice screamed louder, yanking at the bed sheets.

“What?!” I mumbled in the pillow.

“Get out of the bed! We’re gonna be late for school!” My ears now more awake, picked up the heavy Southern accent.

"No!" I mumbled again.

"Get up!" Phi belted in my ear.

“Go away Phoenix!” I whined, kicking my legs as she launched her body on top of mine, bouncing up and down. “Ph-E-ee-on-i-x- S-ttto-o-p-I-ii-t!”

“Then get out of the bed!”

“I don’t want to!” I grumbled.

"Luna..."

"No!" Why couldn't she just let me sleep, I was so warm...

“Don’t make me set the bed on fire!” She said sternly.

“Okay, okay!” I shouted sitting up on the bed causing her to tumble off and onto the floor with a thump. I looked down at her shocked face on the floor, short fiery hair sticking up everywhere, trying to stifle my laughter and failing epically.

“This is no way to treat your new friend” She said pouting still lying flat on her back.

“No but it’s the way to treat your new best friend?” I beamed down at her.

“If you’re trying to sweet talk me into letting you stay in bed, then you’re fight a losing battle here” She stated causing me to pout “Now help me up”

Sighing I bent down and pulled her up off the floor, mumbling in agreement to her threats of what would happen if I tried to get back into bed before she skipped of happily. That girl was too happy all the time. Reluctantly I pulled myself from the bed, smoothing the sheet, laying down the duvet and fluffing my pillows. I pick my toy dog Poochie off the floor, and placed him back in the middle of the bed before, switching my iTunes on and walking across the room towards the door to the ensuite. Remembering I wasn’t alone, I knocked loudly on the door.

“Nox!” I called knocking loudly.

“WHAT?” I heard a voice boom through the door. God why is he always so rude. “Give me two seconds”

I sighed leaning against the door, humming to Florence and The Machine. I was 5 songs into her album before the door swung open. Completely absorbed in the music, I forgot I was leaning against the door, and soon remembered when I landed flat on my back, looking up at a frowning Nox; standing only in boxers may I add.
