After 5 long hours, the bus has finally stopped at my— well Garroth's house. When the bus door swung open I skipped off right away and hurried inside the house. I plopped myself onto the soft couch, grabbed a bag of chips, and clicked on the TV. "So good to be 'home'." I said between mouthfuls of chips. It was 1:36 PM and today was Friday, so that's a good thing.

"Y/N are you sure that's good for your health? You been eating junk food all the way through the bus already." Garroth said, as he opened the fridge in the kitchen. "

"What could I say? I'm hungry as a wolf!" I flipped through channel after channel, trying to find something good to watch. I have to say I was exhausted. I didn't sleep during the bus ride while the others did because I couldn't stand the way the bus shook every now and then. It was like riding on a boat. Eventually I felt my eye lids give itself up and I drifted into a deep sleep.

"Dinners ready!"

My eyes shot open as I found myself hugging a pillow still lying on the couch. I fell asleep didn't I? I made my way to the kitchen that was almost connected to the living room and saw Garroth finishing frying something and Vylad sitting at the table waiting patiently.

"Where's Zianna and Zane? I never knew you were cooking dinner tonight." I said.

"Mom's on a trip to Dad's business for reasons and Zane....He's probably still stuffed up in his room as always. I already called for him like 6 times. Since no one was making dinner tonight I thought I could." Garroth set 4 plates full of food on the dinner table and bowls of soup enough for everyone tonight and joined me and Vylad.

I digged in and before I knew it, the plate was clean as it could be. "You did a great job Garroth. I....I really needed that nutrition after stuffing chips in my mouth all day." I said.

"Heh thanks. Can you do me a favor? Go to Zane's room and tell him to come down for dinner. I'm starting to think he's dead after he spend every second in that old messy room of his."

As much as I didn't want to, I had to. I can't just leave in someone's house and do nothing can I? "Alright. I'll be right back." I answered, and with the 2 legs of mine, I stepped up the stairs and climbed upstairs. When I was standing in his front door, I hesitated. I reached my hand to knock but before I did, I notice the door was already slightly opened. Is he even in there? Well, if he is and I go barging in, I don't even want to think about what's going to happen.

I slowly made my way looking through the small crack the door left. It wouldn't hurt looking to see what he has been doing all this time in his room when he didn't go on the field trip with us, right? I poked one eye through the opening and all I saw was darkness. What? I inched a bit closer to get a better view and saw a glimpse of small light. I opened the door a bit wider but regretted it right away.

"What are you doing here dork?" My eyes widened as Zane stood in front of me.

"I-I just w-wanted you t-to k-know dinner I-is ready." I stuttered out.
