Chapter five
{Hey guys, hope you like this next chapter, it's been a long time coming!}
I stared blankly at him, not sure if I had heard him correctly, he wanted a child from me, my child....my mind was reeling from the shocked, I couldn't comprehend any of it, I would not be able to leave until I produced a heir for the devil, that was what was in the contract!
I contemplated my stupidity once more as I berated myself for not looking over the binding contract more thoroughly, I then realized that Sebastian was still standing obviously waiting for a reaction, but I didn't give him one, I couldn't, I had already signed the contract which meant that I would have too, and he had said that there was no way out until I gave him what he wanted.
There were no words that I could say at the moment, to put it simply...I was screwed, my mind was a jumbled mess at the moment, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, I decided then that I would go through with it because otherwise I wouldn't be leaving any time soon, I reopened my eyes only to see Stephen in the room with us, and Sebastian looking irritated, "What do you want brother", Sebastian asked in a bored tone.
I was a little shocked that Sebastian had called Stephen brother, although now that I was paying closer attention they had similar attributes, their noses were the same and they had the same mysterious charm that I was now not so charmed by.
"A little warning next time you have someone sign anything make sure they read it first brother, looks like our girl is in shock", I heard Stephen say to Sebastian with a laugh, Sebastian growled, "Mine", giving his brother a dark look, "Ok trust me, I get the picture" he said with both hands up in mock surrender.
My voice came out faintly as I sat there numb, "Why me", I asked, even with his brothers jokes he heard my voice, "Why not you", he asked back, that wasn't answering the question and it was a good avoidance strategy, his eyes pierced into me letting me know that there was more too this than met the eye, but he wasn't going to let me in on it anytime soon because we both new that this was just the beginning.
I looked away from his intense gaze, I was now a little curious as too how we were going to work this out, the last time I had checked you made a baby out of love and we were definitely not in love, and I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing or what I was going to do about this mess that I had gotten myself into.
"H-how are we going to make a baby", I asked as both heads turned to me with disbelieving looks on their face, "I mean I know how a baby is made, I'm not that stupid, but is this going to work without love", I quickly added blushing furiously, Stephen looked at his older brother with a twinkle in his eye, " I'm going to go, I Don't envy you brother, looks like you'll have your hands full with this one", he said and then chuckled at his own private joke and left.
Sebastian walked over and held his hand out for me to grab it, I stood up and walked with him, we walked out of his office and made our way through double doors that lead to what resembled a garden, "This is beautiful", I said out loud and blushed once again when I caught Sebastian staring at me, "Yes it is", he said not bothering to look at the wild beauty of the garden in front of him.
"No, there won't be love but I will respect you as the mother of my child, and I will do anything to make the rest of your life comfortable", he said staring off into nothingness, I pondered for a moment of what he was thinking and then decided that I probably didn't want to know.
"What will happen after I have the baby", I asked solemnly, I stared up at him, waiting for him too give me an answer, and when it finally did I didn't think I liked it very much, "You will go back and live your life the way you want it", he said it like he wasn't so sure himself and for a second I realized that we were both uncertain of what the future held.
