Max's perspective
I follow Nate and he started down the sidewalk. "So how long have you known eachother?" I say "Me and Anna have been friends since 3 grade." Nate says "Did she tell you how we met?" He says "No why?" I say "Well when we were little in 2 grade Anna beat up the kid who picked on Adam." He says " Well I wanted to talk to her because she had the courage to stand up for herself and others. So I went over to the forest were she always was. Everyone hated her for being a girl but I didn't care. I went into the forest but I couldn't find her. It was time for lunch and the teachers though we got no fresh air so we ate outside. I called out for anyone. Then she dropped down from the tallest tree. It was taller than the school! I got scared and fell back. "Let's get this over with." She said and cracked her knuckles. "No No No I'm lost." I say "ok. What's your name." She said "I'm Nate" I say "Well Nate go straight that way and then to the right at the stream." She says "Thanks." I say "Thank you for being the first one to come and not be looking to punch me." She says and we laugh I walked away." He says "That's nice." I say  "Hey Max." He says "Yeah" "I know you like her." He says "Yeah." I say I could try to hide it but it's to late."I fully support you but if you brake her heart I will crush you." He says "Get in line." I say with a laugh "I want to ask her out but I'm to afraid. She probably doesn't like me." "Don't say what you don't know." He says We got into the pizza place as it wasn't a far walk. "So how did you guys get to be friends?" I say "Well all that day I was wondering how she got to the top of the tree. I decided to visit her to ask her. So I walk over there the next day. Then I call out to her. "You got lost twice?" She says "No I came to find you." "Why?" "How do you get up the entire tree?" "I fly. Why do you care?" I was excited because I thought I found a shapeshifter like me but I didn't want to says anything in case she wasn't. "Because you seem nice and I want to know how to get up there." "I'm not nice you've heard the stories." I had she had beaten up people for looking at her are how they go. "There not true though." "How do you know?" She says as she gets back into the tree. "Because you helped me." "Well that's one person." "That one person who saw you defend your brother." She jumped down "Well why are you here?" "What?" "People don't come here never mind twice." "I'm looking for a friend." "And you want to be my friend? There are plenty of normal people in the school." "But they don't like me for who I am." "Go talk to Adam he likes everyone." She says and climbed up the tree. "I did and he said that I should talk to you because you needed a friend." "Who are you? To be that kind?" "My names Nate." "I'm going to call you Lost boy." "Like from Peter Pan?!" "You like to read?" "Yeah I love to!" "Come on up." I started up the tree and got about halfway. I slipped and started falling. Then she grabbed my hand. "Your supposed to be going up." She said well she was laughing. "Hold on." She said and was guiding me along. We got to the top and could see the whole school from here. We got to the top and their was a whole tree house it was filled with toys and books! "How did you make this?" "Magic" she sat down and showed me piles of books everywhere from The Magic School Bus to Harry Potter."Wow" "So beside reading what do you like to do?" "I like to sing." I say scared she will leave me like everyone else has. "I do to in fact" she goes into a chest that's filled with a radio and a ton of CD's. She turns on the radio and puts in a CD. (Play song) We sung for the rest of recess and from then on I came every day."
He says "Then as we got older and I started my YouTube channel we would work together. She would write them and help me learn them just like we used to." "That's amazing!" I say "It was until she had to move with her family. We were always talking but it wasn't until last year we saw each other again." "You two must be really close." "We are." "Did you two ever date?" "No I think of her as a sister to me."
