Shawns POV
Kaitlyn has been in the hospital for two weeks now. I haven't left this hospital in two weeks. Her pulse is steady and she's breathing I'm just waiting on her to wake up. Her parents haven't been to see her. But I'm not leaving her side, not again. I sleep on the uncomfortable couch in her room. I hold her hand and talk to her everyday and sing to her. I've even cried on her. I miss my beautiful babygirl. I really messed up. If I lose her I don't know what I'll ever do. I keep fresh pink roses in her room from the gift shop because those are her favorites. I love her and I can't live without her..
Kaitlyns POV
I know Shawns been here everyday. I hear him and feel him hold my hand or his tears on me. When the nurses give me shots I feel him rubbing circles on my hand to comfort me because he knows I hate needles. He's the only one who has been here. Not even my parents have been here. I try everyday to wake up but it's never enough. But today I'm gonna give it all I got. Not only for me, but for Shawn.
*after hours of trying*
I just can't wake up and it makes me so upset. I want to wake up but I just can't and I just wanna cry and scream.
Shawns POV
I heard a quite little squill come from Kaitlyn. So I got up from my chair from where I was watching tv to Kaitlyns bed. I looked at Kaitlyn who had tears flowing down her face, quite yells, and her eyes squeezed shut like she was trying to open them. I grabbed her hand and rubbed slow circles on it and said "Come on baby you can do it. Your doing so good just keep trying, I'm right here. You can do it babygirl, I belie-" and with that her wyes flew open and they fell on me.
"Shawn?" she said with a cracking dry voice.
"Yes baby it's me I'm right here."I said kissing all over her face.
"Water? Please?" She begged
"Of course babygirl let me get a nurse."
*three hours later*
The doctors decided to keep Kaitlyn a few more days so they can keep a watch on her. And no matter what I'm not leaving her side not now, not again.
