~Ok, so I know that it has been a long time since I last posted, but school has become a lot of work and then show choir practice. I would have posted it the past weekend, but I had two show choir performances, plus I had been sick so I am overwhelmed with homework, so there's been no chance for me to really even think about my story. So sorry and with all of that said, I also haven't had a chance to check for mistakes, so please excuse them. I would also like to say a thanks to all the people who have fanned me and left comments, your are amazing!! :) Anyways, go read the chapter! Don't forget to tell me what you think and if you happen to see any mistakes, please tell me!
Enjoy!! :) ~
Chapter 8
Drake
Once I left my father’s office, my excitement started to get the best of me. I was so happy that I got her into a comfortable place to stay, that for once I had a put a small smile on my face as I walked down the hallway. When I got to the practice room, I noticed that they were already practicing. They all continued, but quickly glanced back over at me.
“Drake!” Zaire yelled or more like shrieked as ran towards me jumping on me and for I practically had a full blown smile on my face, but I still wouldn’t be completely happy until I have at my side all the time.
“Hey, Zaire!”
“Why are you so happy all of sudden?” Adrian asks, from where he and Ryker are still going at it.
“You have an issue with me actually looking happy?” I ask him, raising an eyebrow at him. He just looked, trying to focus on the fight. While I heard Ryker let out a chuckle.
“You know what he is meaning, Drake. It is just nice to see without a completely straight face,” says Tait a huge smile on his face as he sticks up for the brother that he looks up to. He lost focus while he was talking and giving me a huge smile that he forgot that he and Tad were fighting. So when Tad swung his fist towards him, he instantly went down.
“Geez, Tad, I was talking.”
“Well, maybe you should try and stay focus on what you’re doing, instead focusing more on the conversation. Of course I’m stronger than you anyways so I guess it wouldn’t really matter now would it?” he smirks down at Tait and I can’t help, but notice that he is just doing it to egg him. Tad maybe, one of the nicer ones out of all my brothers, but he definitely could have a mean and competitive streak. He also had a tendency to mock and make fun of them just to irritate them.
I thought for sure that Tait was going to get up and show that he was not stronger; he didn’t he just sat there, giving his twin a such a harsh gaze that it wouldn’t surprise if Tad dropped over dead. “That’s what I thought you realize I am better than you.” Tad said as he turned his back on Tait, I knew what Tad was trying to do. He was going to get him angry, so that he fought irrationally and not focus on his skill. He got exactly what he wanted for in that next moment Tait had launched himself at Tad.
Tad quickly side stepped him and was not harmed while Tait had too much momentum and came crashing down onto the ground without his target. Again, he launched himself this time shifting as fast as he could into his red fox form; at the same time though Tad had quickly shifted into his hawk form. So by the fox landed back onto his feet, the hawk was already up in the air above.
Tait started jumping up into the air trying to catch Tad, to lost to realize that his wolf would have had an easier time at trying to catch him instead of a small little fox. Since he was too far gone it gave Tad the advantage that he would need to overpower him.
