"I want to love and be loved"

"What do you want with our baby sister?!"

shouted who I think is Isabella's brother, well one of them.

I heard from one of my PIs that she has older brothers that are twins.

Knowing that I have to get their blessings to someday marry Isabella I stayed calm, not wanting to have any issue with her family I answer,

"I want to marry your sister. I want her to be mine."

And I think I said something wrong, because his face looked like a character in a cartoon wherein he looked so mad you can see smoke coming out his ears and his face so red he looked ready to explode.

"She's not an object or a property you can just claim you asshat!"

Seeing him aiming a punch to my face I got ready to defend myself. Reminding myself not to hurt my angel's brother knowing it would upset her, too much

But before his fist even landed on my face someone stopped him,

"Damon Keagan Cortez! Leave that poor guy alone! Right now! Or I swear to God and everything holy you'll be sleeping on the couch for a whole month! I mean it!"

And... that was his mom, Audrey. 

As soon as he heard that he slowly let go of me, not really wanting to do as he's told but needs to.

Still glaring at me. 

If looks could kill I would be six feet under.

But I'm not one to be intimidated.

"B-but Mom!"

Damon starts to protest but immediately stops at his mother's glare.

Oh we have a momma's boy right here. 

And even if his mom's glare wasn't that scary, his father's sure is the opposite.  

I, too would not want to be at the receiving end of his wrath. 

I heard a snicker to my side and turned to see who it came from and saw that it was the other twin, Darius Gavin. The more easygoing one.

He was heard by his mom, so the glare is turned to him followed by his father. His mom not amused by his reaction.

He then tensed up, realizing that the attention is now on him. Making the eldest brother smirk, glad.

Who would have known that these two grown man would still be afraid of their mother, and too afraid to upset her that would probably lead to them getting beaten to a pulp by their father.

I can't help but smirk evilly at them.

Knowing that their mother is on my side and knowing that whatever their mother wants is given to her. I have no doubt that their father would do nothing but agree to me too whether he wants to or not knowing it would make his wife happy. And I will not take advantage of that.
