*Still Chloe's POV*
The next morning I was woken up by my Dad. He wasn't at work, he was standing there in casual clothes with messed up hair and bags under his eyes.
"Pack your things." was all he said, before walking back downstairs.
I slowly got up and changed into some trackies, a hoody and my runners. I wiped off the smudged make-up from last night and threw my knotty hair into a bun. I quickly packed the clothes I had into my suitcase, as well as my mementos and make-up and things. My head was pounding, but I ignored it. I looked like I hadn't slept in months. Once I had packed my small amount of belongings into my large suitcase I went downstairs. Mum was sitting at the bench, head in hands, and Felicity was sitting over in the corner playing with her hands.
"I'll see you in court Helen. And you know I will get this divorce. You know I will win." Dad said, coming out with a suitcase and a few boxes for his things.
"What about the kids? And where will you stay? And why are you taking the photo albums?!" Mum said, noticing the album in the top of one of the boxes.
"I'm scanning them. I'll give you back the originals. You obviously don't care for Chloe. She'll stay with me. If Felicity wants to visit she can. For now we're staying at the Tomlinson's." Dad said, taking his things to his car.
I smiled, we were staying with my best friend and boyfriend. My smile quickly vanished when I saw Mum glaring at me.
"This is all your fault you know. Now I'll have no income. No husband. My poor Leacy'll be less spoilt. All your fault."
"Helen that's enough from you! It's your fault you act like such a witch!" Dad yelled.
"Clo I'm gonna go outside and you throw your suitcase down out the window ok?" His eyes softened when he saw me. I nodded, whispered a goodbye to my mum and Felicity and then went into my room. Dad decided to give Mum the house, considering they'd struggle more money-wise. To be honest, I'd miss my room. But then again, what could be better than living with your boyfriend and best friend?
"So... you got today of work?" I asked Dad quietly.
"Yeah... I asked if they could cut my hours down. Now I'll be working from 8am-5pm and I get the whole weekend off. They said they wont cut the pay since they appreciate my work there." Dad said, smiling at me.
"That's awesome Dad!" I grinned back at him.
"Also, I called Haylee this morning. She said I can stay in the spare room and you in Sophie's room. She said we can stay as long as we need to. She also mentioned the party last night..."
I put my head down in shame. I only meant to stick it to my mother, but I ended up hurting my father as well.
"Toby came home fairly sober, but Sophie was nowhere to be seen until 10 this morning."
That's right, Sophie!
"What happened to her?!" I asked, alarmed.
"Haylee isn't sure, but she came home crying and confused."
My eyes widened. Poor Sophie.
"Anyway, both of the twins are resting, I recommend you do the same to." He finished, consecrating on driving.
I leaned back into my chair. This is just great.
