I don't really appreciate chain mail. But this one just sounds serious! I even looked it up and the girl was a REAL person. That's crazy.

I already have the 25 people I will send it to. I might even send it to random fans.

"Hayley!! Why are you sending chain mail to me?!" I heard Annie bellow from upstairs. Uh-oh.

"What is wrong with you? I told you that I hate reading chain mail!"

I just shook my head. "Well you better send it soon or else you might get strangled."

"Oh please, I don't even believe in this stuff. It's stupid."

"It is not!"

Annie left on a huff. "Fine! But if you die tonight don't blame me!" I yelled.

I continued to send the mail until I had sent it to 25 different people. Wooh! I'm safe. I decided to walk downstairs with the vlogging camera.

"Okay, so I just sent chain mail to 25 different people just now annnnddd... Now I'm safe from that mean strangling lady. Annie doesn't like it but I hope she'll be okay tonight. Maybe I'll sleep with her to get a better nights sleep."

"Hey Hay. What's going on?" My mom states as I reached the living room. She took the camera from me.

"I just sent chain mail. Can I sleep with Annie tonight?"

"Woah woah woah. Chain mail!? You know that stuff isn't true."

"Yeah but whatever. So can I have a sleepover with Annie?"

"I don't know. You have to learn to sleep on your own."

Mommy turned off the camera. "Hayley, listen. I know ever since Caleb left us you've been afraid to sleep alone. But you can't be scared forever."

I felt the years sting my eyes. "I know I just... I don't wanna lose Annie too."

She rubbed my shoulder. "And you won't. You guys are both fine and healthy and nothing will happen." She started to walk back towards her bedroom.

"You thought Caleb was healthy."

She just stopped on her tracks. She tightened her fists then walked briskly back to her room.

It's been a while since I talked to my mom. I decided to take Annie to her room and do a song a dance as to why we should sleepover.

"Mommy? Can we talk to you?" Annie said vlogging.

"Sure." I could tell she wasn't happy.

"We have a song for you to let us sleepover!" I said.

We got into place and began to sing our song. Mommy was vlogging the whole time.

Then we started to compare ourselves.
I have Annie a hug and she picked me up.

"Mommy, we go together like tomato..." I took a dramatic pause. "...and fries!"

Annie put me down and mommy started laughing at me. "You mean ketchup and fries?"

"Yeah same thing!"

After talking to my mom she finally let us sleepover. Annie had already fallen asleep and I was waiting for midnight to come. Honestly, o was scared.

Then I remembered. I'm supposed to get an awesome text from someone I love!

I guess I fell asleep for a while. When I woke up it was 2am. I looked over to my aside and saw Annie lying fast asleep. Thank God.

As I was about to drift off one last time, my phones screen lit up. I held it to my face. Ugh, it was like a UFO shining in my face!

I read the notification as "1 new message".

I'm too tired to read it right now.

Ugh this chapter was boring to me. I just had to get to the point of course. The next chapter is where the real stuff happens. The adventure, the plots, the romance (just kidding there's no romance).
