When the trio becomes the duo

Last Shift

It was a couple of days since The trio had been to the beach and they were getting ready for work.

Arthur was sitting at the table eating breakfast with Dom when Zosia came out of the bathroom.

"Zosh, tell him he can't go into work like that" Dom said as she sat at the table.

"I'm fine, It's just a cold" Arthur protested.

"I knew we shouldn't have gone in the sea the other day" Dom told him.

"Arthur I'm so sorry that was my stupid idea" Zosia said apologetically.

"It's fine Zosia, I choose to go in and it was the most fun i've had in a long time" Arthur Smiles.

"Come on Zosh were going to be late" Dom calls a few minutes later with Arthur by his side.

"You still shouldn't be coming" Dom said as they waited for her.

"This is going to my last shift, I need to do this" Arthur says grabbing his bag.

They made there way to work getting in the lift together and then separating as Arthur and Dom went to Keller and Zosia carried on to Darwin.

Arthur and Dom walk onto the ward and get changed into their scrubs before meeting Sacha and Essie at the nurses station.

"Arthur, are you sure you should be here?" Sacha asks noticing him looking tired and keep sniffling.

"I'm fine" Arthur says picking up a patient file and walking off.

Keller is pretty quiet that day and there shifts soon draw to a closer with Arthur's last ever shift officially over he was a little sad.

"Come on, were going to Albies" Dom says hurrying Arthur up. There standing outside the pub and Arthur can see a banner with his name on it.

"I told you I didn't want a party" Arthur told him.

"Sacha's idea" Dom says holding his hands up.

"You really thought he'd let you go without a party?" Dom questioned as the entered the pub.
