Suddenly, I felt a strange tingling on the back of my neck. I looked round for the source, but all I saw was a mottled tabby cat. I decided to cut through the closest ally to get to my bridge. I chose the footbridge because there was a ledge underneath it was just big enough to accommodate myself and my few possessions. Also, my ledge was out of the sight of the pedestrians from the road. As I hauled myself onto the ledge, I heard a small whimper. I looked round and saw a blanket by the wall of rock. That's rather funny, I could have sworn that I took all of my things with me when I went to the woods to hide out for a while. I took a closer look, and realized that it was a rather small blanket, and in fact it wasn't one of mine at all. I heard that heartbreaking whimper again, and this time, I could tell that it was coming from the blanket. I cautiously walked over, and pulled back a flap of the blanket. And I saw a tiny impossibly beautiful face looking up at me with the innocent eyes of a child.
