Part 3

The next morning

Levi's POV

I woke up early, as always, and went to make myself some tea.

While I was drinking my caffeine filled drink, I decided to check my phone because Erwin enjoys pissing me off with his annoying texts.

I noticed that he hadn't texted me that much tonight. In fact, he only texted me once:

'From: Erwin Caterpillar-brows

Subject: Really Important!

Please Levi, read the papers as soon as you can. Preferably in the next twelve hours. Pay attention to the highlights!!!

'What the hell?' I thought, but decided to read the papers anyway.

"Over a short course of time (normally around 1-2 weeks), male nekos develop romantic feelings towards their owners. This is completely normal. Owners must be aware that this is an unavoidable process in the development of male nekos. If left out of development it could cause nekos to break and become mentally ill."

'What?!'

'Please, no.'

I grabbed my phone and called Erwin:

"What is it Levi? I was still sleeping-"

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS 'ROMANTIC FEELINGS' SHIT?!"

"Oh. So you did what I asked you to do...It's just like it is written on the paper, Levi."

"BUT WHY ME?!?!"

"Levi, calm down! You're going to wake Eren on your half of the line AND Armin, who –by the way- is right next to me, asleep."

"Shit. Sorry. But why does he have to...you know?"

"I don't know. We should ask Mikasa and Annie."

"I'll a-"

"You will not be asking Mikasa or Annie anything. You would probably hurt their feelings."

"Fine. But fill me in on the details as soon as you can."

I hung up.

I don't understand.

Why?

Erwin's POV

After that unexpected call from Levi, I decided to get up and out of bed – since that call woke me up.

I carefully slipped out of bed – making sure that Armin was still asleep and wasn't woken by Levi screaming through the electronic communication device called a cell phone – and headed to the kitchen so that I could prepare something for breakfast.

As I was entering the kitchen I remembered when reading Armin's reports that he really liked vegetables so I decided that I would make some salad for breakfast.

TIME SKIP

Once I was finished I heard gentle patting of feet against the wood flooring of the corridor leading towards the spacious kitchen that I was in.

"Armin? Is that you?" I asked gently.

"Mhmm..." a soft voice replied, "tuna~"

'He must have caught the scent of the tuna that I added to the salad,' I thought as I walked to him and picked him up along with the large bowl of salad in my other hand and walked into the dining area that was in the same room as the living room.

I sat down in a chair, placed Armin in my lap and began feeding him. He didn't seem to mind this so I just continued, taking a few mouthfuls at times so that I would also be eating some breakfast.

I'm really sorry that this has taken forever and that this chapter is really short but I just can't because writer's block has hit me hard and I found it difficult to finish this chapter!!! I'm really sorry!! It's bad!!!! :'(
