Yuanace #1: Misconceptions

As the bell rang to end the lessons for today, animals (basically students) were filing in and out of the classrooms.

Graceful was nervously figeting her fingers underneath her table as the teacher left the final instructions for the chemistry project that is to be submitted on 14th febuary.

The animals called it jokingly "The science of love".

But what was even more intimidating for Graceful was the fact that this time the hamster (teacher) decided the groupings and it was merely inches away from her, in the form of a paper.
Animals were crowding and hovering about it as if it was the Mona Lisa.

Inside Graceful, she was praying very hard that she was partnered with him, Yuan Xen, also known as Xen. He was an extremely popular dangerous geek right after Prude. Xen was an intellectual and prodigy in the feild of chemistry and Graceful fell into his beautiful charm and wit. He spoke about elements as if they were his own children and knew all types of salt solution colors by heart it was no wonder he can produce a rainbow in the chemistry lab.

"Don't worry, you will be the first ever girl to be in touch with Xen." Her bestie, Mithranee reassured her. At that thought that despite being the genious he is, Xen has rarely or even never had connection with woman. He was rumored to be cocky yet stubborn towards interacting with the female population.

"You're right.. hopefully I am lucky enough.." Graceful thought aloud.
"Ofcourse you will!! Imagine how your first date will be like!" Mithranee was fangirling.

"Don't get too excited now.. its just a chemistry project." Graceful reassured her but inside she was in silent agreement.

Just when Graceful stood up to muster courage towards the paper of groupings, she heard whispers and hushes as animals around her were staring behind her.

Words such as "Oh my god... its Xen.. he is so cool!!... is that... What id Xen doing?"

At the mention of his name, Graceful's heart leaped inside. But... what was it all of a sudden that the animals are interested about?

Graceful locked ger fingers tightly and pivoted around, sensing a worried look from Mithranee's face. Why was she worried? Oh no...

But what she saw was very astonishing. Xen was handsome as always with his spikey black hair and asian-style black studs as eyes. He was entering the classroom with a girl beside him. She had curly brunette bangs and hazelnut brown eyes.

She actually looked very beautiful and sudden paranoia struck her. Xen never comunicated with woman.. how was this even possible.

Both were in an animated chat as they walk down the middle of the classroom. All animal eyes were on them as many assumptions were passed around. However, Graceful had only one disasterous thought in her mind.

What if Xen already has a girlfriend?

I am literally laughing at what I am doing. This is not an appropriate timing to start a new book but it is short i promise. And yes, some of these characters will be mentioned in HR. You might be slightly confused if you dont read HR but it should not be much of an issue. And this will definately be under Romance. But this story... im still laughing.
