Jithra #1: It all starts with Hate

*I am so sorry that there will be HR spoilers in this chapter :( P.s this song will depict Jithra (to a certain extent)*

"There.. there must be some misconception.." Mithranee was desperately trying to make excuses.

Graceful was meek and just when she was mustering up courage, things start to go wrong.

Xen, the handsome dangerous geek and chemistry prodigy, had entered the classroom for the next lecture and during the announcement of a chemistry project to be done by Valentines Day. He was known not to  talk with any girl in the school and was labelled as 'cool', unlike mere civilians like her.

Xen was talking and walking with another girl with a skater skirt, grey tank top and brunette bangs. However, she seemed familiar. But at that moment Mithranee needed make sure Graceful feel better of herself before breaking down.

When she stared at Graceful, her heart broke a bit. Graceful's face showed that she was heartbroken and she was balling her fists like she was about to throw a fit. Then she started eyeing the other girl from top to bottom and seemed to be judging her on what she might have have in order to have attracted Xen towards her.

Mithranee immediately went towards Graceful and kept a reassuring hand on her shoulder as poor Graceful slumped her shoulders in defeat after a while. "Don't be upset yet." She reassured.

"You might still have a chance to be partnered to him." she continued and Graceful sadly nods. Mithranee was upset herself but decided to cheer up Graceful as the mysteriously familiar lady and Xen take a seat at the back. 

She takes the sheet of paper that had the chemistry groupings and literally squealed at what she saw.

"Graceful!" She whispered excitedly as the English teacher, Hamster Adeline enters.

"Hmm..." Graceful murmured, clearly not interested but Mithranee knew she would be soon enough.

"Take a look!... Your partnered with Xen!" She was extremely happy for Graceful and the way her eyes lit up staring at the sheet of paper.

"Oh my god!! Yes... its my redempt-... wait a sec..." she trailed away.

Must be Graceful's low self esteem again, Mithranee thought and reassured. "Don't fret.. it will be alright."

That was when Graceful's expression changed as she said," No... that's not what I mean-..."

"What are you whispering about?" Hamster Adeline called out as both Mithranee and Graceful obediently jerked to attention and gave her the grouping paper. 

What was in the paper that Graceful was appalled about? Mithranee thought.

During Hamster's lesson, Mithranee was spacing out as Hamster rattled about prepositions or something like it. 

Well, I'm sure Graceful must be so happy with Xen... Hmmm.. what was it that Graceful was all of a sudden shocked upon seeing the groupings? I was so happy that I did not really look at the groupings? Maybe she realized the brunette girl has no groupings or maybe found out the brunette girl's name.

Just then, she felt something hard near her and she turned to look at a Mont Blanc pen and picked it up to hear a voice call out, "That's mine, would you mind handing it back?"

She turned around to see Xen, Prude and the Girl sit together in a row. She picked it up and set it down and caught a whiff of her scent as she said, "Thanks a ton."

Its... its.. isn't she the girl R.J's talked about? Her sister-like bestie?.. but I never met or knew her name?
