You stood in confusion for a long time before even having the thought of leaving the kitchen. And as the wooden door released you from the kitchen, you suddenly realized that it was night.

The moon shined magnificently through the window, casting light upon the dark hallway. You passed under the moonlight, as it was temporarily projected onto your skin. Your feet led you wordlessly through the hallway, and you could see G leaning against the wall, and you had the scariest thought.

Was he waiting for you?

He quickly turned his head in your direction, as if hearing your inner monologue. It was a spur of the moment when you two locked eyes, you quickly turned in the other direction but you could feel his stare burning into your back. "Hey, Opal."

Your heart stopped.

You could feel his hot breath on your neck, and you involuntarily shivered. When did he get so close? He suddenly grabbed your hand, "Come with me." He said, and you knew you didn't have a choice.

You let him lead you through his maze of a house, both of you trapped in silence. You stared at the ground and let his cold touch consume you as he looked back at you almost every 5 seconds.

You silently lifted your head and gazed at him, when he suddenly turned around and your gazes met. He stumbled, and almost let go of your hand, but quickly turned back around. And you don't know why, but you wished he hadn't turned back around.

The wooden stairs creaked as you two journeyed up them, G's boney hand never leaving yours.

You almost tripped when you realized that there were no more stairs left, just a smooth and flat floor. You scowled at the floor and heard G chuckle. You quickly looked up to find him, smirking, seeming amused at your situation.

You cracked a sheepish smile, and he winked at you, a sudden cold air filling your senses. You found yourself staring out an open door, and you breathed in deeply, the cold air briskly filling your lungs.

G smiled at your behavior and you grinned back, running out onto the patio he had just given you access to.

But what you saw stopped you in your tracks.

The most beautiful thing you had ever seen ran in streaks across the sky. Colors purple, pink, and orange blended brilliantly to form the most perfect sunset. You gazed in awe while as a shiver ran up your spine, and you recodnized the touch as G's hand on your back, as he stared out with you.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" He sad, his husky voice snapping you straight back into reality. "Yeah." You whispered softly. G breathed in deeply, and smiled. "Don't you just love that feeling?" You asked, your voice barely above a whisper. "What feeling?" G asked, staring at you with confusion practically stapled onto his fourhead.

"When the cold air fills your lungs, and it's almost just pure bliss." You said, looking into his orbs towards the end of your sentence. He stood still or a few moments, "Yeah, yeah, I guess I would, if I had lungs." He said, smirking.

"Oh you shush" you replied, smiling. "Hey, you were the one that said it." He said, shrugging. "But you're the one who took me out here" You answered. "True." He said, admitting it.

"We're both just weirdos." You said, as G let out a laugh.

"I like the sound of that." He whispered, turning to face you. You locked eyes and you blinked once before you looked back down at the floor. But you felt a coldness suddenly grow on your chin, and your line of sight was lifted into those yellow whisps again.

You're not sure why his touch was always so cold, but you enjoyed the feeling of his fingers on your chin, and you enjoyed playing these mini-staring contests.

"Why do you always look away?" G asked, and you let a thought slip into your head that changed your whole perspective on G.

He cares.

You shocked yourself, nobody cares don't be ridiculous. He does, your mind bantered, He cares about you. You let out a deep breath and opened your eyes to G, You didn't mind if he cared or not, because he did now, and that's what mattered.

"Because no one ever wants me to look." You replied, and G's eyes widened slightly. You didn't expect what happened next in the slightest bit.

G wrapped his arms around you in a tight embrace.

You stood paralized for a few moments, but slowly and steadily wrapped your arms around his neck. You both breathed in each other's scent and only thought of letting go after the sunrise had turned to a bland morning sky.

"You're staying, right?" G spoke, his voice hesitant.

"I don't have a choice, do I?"

"No."

"Well than you've got yourself a broken girl, Ghost Rider."
