"Opal, you know I have to leave." Caden said, trying to remove your arms that were latched around him."But if you leave, Frisk is gonna make me face G." You whispered, hugging him tighter. "You can't just ignore him for the rest of your life." Caden said, and you nodded slowly. Sighing, you turned to Toriel and Frisk, who clearly wanted Caden out of their house.

"I'll walk him out." You said, and Toriel nodded, shooing you out. You turned to Caden, wrapping your arms around him in another hug before stepping back and searching his eyes. Sadness, and.....excitement? "Come with me." Caden whispered, putting his hands on your shoulders.

Your eyes widened and you quickly shook your head, but hesitated and thought back to the fight. "I don't know, Caden, I just don't think-" Caden interrupted you,"Then don't think, don't think at all, cmon its an adventure!" He cheered. You never could resist adventures.

"Ok." You whispered, and he excitedly took your hand, both of you racing to the car and every step you made eased your conscious more, away from G, away from the bad memories, a fresh start.

You smiled as you jumped into his car and he sped off, and you had the courage to laugh and wave to the town you were leaving.

You passed Cyndle grabbing the mail as you sped off down the road, and you waved, "Bye Cyndle!" You cheered, and Cyndle dropped all the mail, "Wait, Opal!" She cried, but it was too late. You were already wrapped around Caden's finger, he had pulled you in again.

Laughing, you leaned over and kissed Caden's cheek, excited for the future to come.

"Where do you live?" You asked, striking up a friendly conversation. "Colorado." He said evenly, and you noticed he looked a little bit too calm, too put together. You squinted at him but thought nothing of it. Turning on the radio, a sudden sleepiness hit you and you were out like a light.

"Opal, wake up." Caden said, in a monotone and slightly creepy voice. You shied away from him and stretched, noticing him watching you the whole time. "Woah." You said, looking up and noticing the grand house before you, towering over the other houses in the neighbourhood. You got out of the car slowly and strained your neck from trying to see the roof of the house.

"This is where you live?" You asked, and Caden smiled cheerfully at you, and you brushed off the few weird moments of him just being tired, he was back to his normal self. "Yup yup." He said, "Let me show you around."

Kicking the car door closed with his foot, the bags he carried preoccupied his arms so you opened the door for him. Stepping inside, a feeling of astonishment swallowed you whole. Glass chandeliers that looked fragile hung from the ceiling, and two grand staircases circled each other in a beautiful fashion.

You let yourself be spoiled by the fancy arrangements and immediately agreed when Caden asked if you wanted the Suite room. Walking with Caden down the massive hallway, your footsteps echoed, making you always think someone was behind you. Caden suddenly stopped in front of a door, making you run into his back, he muttered a soft, "Sorry." And and awkward silence fell over you two.

He searched through the hundreds of keys he had on a large gold ring, when he cursed under his breath and turned towards you, "Sorry, I don't have the suit key, and I have to go put my stuff away, will you run to the file room? The keys on top the file cabinet." He said, making the situation more awkward. You nodded and started to walk down the hallway, you remembered where the file room was, you had passed it on your way up.

Looking back once at Caden, you couldn't help by notice the nervous look on his face.

Whistling down the hallway, you found the silence unnerving. You looked back down the empty, long, hallway every five seconds, certain someone was following you.

You passed the file room about five times before you finally found it, slowly opening the door and flicking the light on quickly, expecting to find a serial killer, but nope, just a quiet room with lots of file cabinets. Sighing, you stretched your arms and moved your hand around the top of the file cabinet, expecting to feel a cold metal key, but you felt nothing but dust. You brushed your hands off and looked around the room, noticing a swivel chair next to a desk.

You rolled it over and stepped on top of it, the chair shaking and spinning, causing you to fall, bringing the file cabinet with you, all the drawers opened and the files spilled out, and you gasped and crawled away just when the file cabinet hit the floor, a loud shattering noise following it.

Your eyes widening, you tried to pick up as many files as you could, and one laid sprawled out on top of the pile, its contents spilling out, picking it up, you intended to just pick it up but it caught your eye. You skimmed through it and your heart stopped, house fire, first-degree murder.

Footsteps echoed through the open door and Caden appeared in the doorway, "Opal?" He asked, "What did you do?" You looked up at him quickly, angry, hot, tears streaming down your cheeks. "What did YOU do!?" You cried, "You killed my parents!"
