Chapter 5. What Just Happened?

Chapter 5

Shanes POV

I woke up. I was really cold. I turn on the opposite side of the bed. No Joey? I heard someone going threw the kitchen.

I tried to call out Joeys name but nobody replied. I walked slowly out to the kitchen and the front door was wide open. I walked outside and saw Joey crying next to the door. Why was he crying.

I got closer to Joey and put my hand on his back. My hand didn't feel a surface. It just fell right threw. Causing me to loose my balance for a moment.

Shane: Joey?

Joey looked my way. Eyes all red and puffy. He was crying for. Really long time it looks like. I attempted to grasp his cheeks and pull him in for a kiss and I didn't feel his cheeks.. I didn't feel Joey. Just then Joey started running away. I turned around to walk back in the house to see Joey staring at me...

Joey: Shane why did you get out of bed? What are you doing?

I couldn't tell Joey I was seeing things. He might take me to a mental hospital.

Shane: Oh. I thought I heard someone knocking..

We both walked back inside and Joey pulled me in for a kiss. I was holding his cheeks. Now I felt that warm mushy Joey. He pulled away then walked to the room.

Joey: Shane! I have a gift for you!!

I followed him to the bedroom..

Joeys POV

Shane was getting out of bed.

I wonder why.

I got out of bed and started following him.

He walked over to the front door and opened it.

What was Shane doing.

Suddenly he reached his hand out.. reaching for something. I crept around the corner looking for what he was trying to get. But there was nothing..

Shane: Joey?

Is he having a dream? His eyes are open.

I wonder what he is doing.

I watched for a bit longer and Shane turned around, looking at me.

Joey: Shane why did you get out of bed? What are you doing?

Shane looked very confused. Did he see something? Was there a person there?

Shane: Oh I thought I heard a knock at the door..

I knew Shane was lying. Just to make this moment less awkward I pulled him in for a kiss. I pulled away and walked over to the couch. Oh I almost forgot! My present for Shane! I went into my room and grabbed a little box out of my dresser. I handed it to Shane...
