Chapter 1

I'm Christen Wells. I'm just your average 16 year old. I live in Florida. I'm your average nerd in school. I have a small group of friends. Rebecca, she is the GG of the group. Brooke, she is the dare devil like me and Morgan. She is just a quiet girl. I have never heard her speak since we've been friends. So I go to Rosa Fields. I'm a junior in high school. I have a strange family. My mom died when I was a toddler. I have an older sister named Cara. She is so nice but yet so mean. She told my crush Seth that I liked him to the whole school. My younger brother's name is Joe. He is normal around public and when we get home he acts like a 2 year old. It's so funny but yet so strange. My dad got married to my step mom Claire this year in April. I hate her so much. I'm afraid to tell him that so he won't have to go back and have all those embarrassing talks, shopping for bras, and having to go shopping with us. So I kept my mouth shut. Anyway, I head to school this morning with a bad attitude. My dad got mad at me for yelling at Claire. So I have only 5 classes left in school. I have to sit next to Seth. He is so cute but he has a girlfriend named Savannah. She is the most popular girl in school. When she walked in she came straight to Seth, sat on his lap and kissed him. His reaction to her kiss was so good but yet so evil. His hands on her hips going down and down until they reach her butt. Her hands go up and down on his chest. It looked like she was trying to take off his buttons on his shirt but he stopped and said later. She went to her seat and smiled at me. I wanted to punch her but the bell rang. I told myself you will have your chance later. I sat in my seat feeling mad. Every time I clanked at Savannah she looked back at me and smiled. One time I was so mad at her I didn't even hear the teacher call on me. She snaps the ruler on my desk and I jump. Everyone laughs and she looks at me with those evil eyes. Her name is Mrs. Palmer. She is the worst teacher on the planet. She looks at me "what is the answer Christen"? I look at her and she smiles. "Well then since you haven't paid attention in class you and the rest of the class will have to do a paragraph about what were studying". Mrs. Palmer always loved giving things like this. Everyone groans and looks at me. I slump back in my desk slowly until I'm almost out of my chair. I was being watched by all my classmates. I was looking back and forth from the clock to the floor. Then I hear the bell and run to my locker. I hear everyone laugh behind me but I don't care right now. I open my locker and someone closes it. It was Ben. He was a nerd but a hot one. He liked me since 3rd grade. "Hey Christen" he smiled. "Hey Ben" I was kinda trying to talk small talk but he just grabbed my arm and took me to his mothers room where no one is in. He sits me on the table and he sits next to me. I smile at him but then look away. "So, Christen. Do you have a boyfriend" he looks at me with those puppy eyes he always looks at me when we wants his way. He sits closer to me but I couldn't move. He looks at me real close. "You are really close to me Ben" I tell him but he only smiles. "That's the point" he smiles like the devil. He leans closer to me but I don't move. I have never kissed a guy but I've never had a guy kiss me. He gets so close I could smell his mint gum in his breath. Then he kissed me. I could taste the mint in his mouth. I didn't like him but I don't know why I didn't push him away and run out of the room but I just grab his jacket and pull him in closer. I was making his jacket have wrinkles but we didn't care. I stop kissing him and fall of the table. I didn't mean to but I must have grabbed his shirt and pulled him with me. He lands on top of me and that hurt. "Are you okay Christien" Ben asked. "Ya I'm fine" I quickly answered him wanting more of the kiss. I grabbed his shirt this time and pull him in. He was such a good kisser. Then I heard the door open and I stop and look up. It was Bens friends. They were all laughing at us and I quickly run out of the room. I could hear Ben yelling at them but I didn't stop running. I got to my locker with only 1 minute to spare. I got my things and was heading to Science. I got in the class when the bell rung. I sat down and Ben came in. His shirt and jacked were all wrinkled and my lipstick stains were on his face. Everyone looked at me and giggled. I put my head down and fell asleep. I woke to find some one shacking me. It was Ben. I was guessing he wanted more of me so I pulled him in and kissed him. He got off me and said "Mrs. Jacobs wanted me to wake you up because we have only 2 minutes. Not to kiss me but we can do that later though" Ben said with a smile. I get my things packed and the bell rang. I went to my locker to find Christen and Ben with hearts all over my locker. I quickly get my stuff and head to my next class.
