Austin’s POV

3 days later

“She’s dead” The doctor said.

“No, No she isn’t!” I said.

“I’m sorry, were you her brother?”

“NO! I WAS THE ALMOST BOYFRIEND!!”

“The only way she can live is if she is on the life support where we give her medicine. But she wont actually be her. She will be asleep.”

“I will pay you to keep her alive! And I will visit! And hopefully she will come back!”

“You know how much that will cost you?! Just let her have peace.”

“NO! She will come back! I promise!” I started crying, tears coming every second.

“Look we will keep her for 3 months then see what you say. Deal?”

“Okay but I’m leaving tomorrow for my 2 month long tour.”

“That will be fine. But someone needs to be here with her.”

“Uhm. Robert will.”

“May I please speak with him?” The doctor asks.

I called Robert.

“Hey Robert. Do you- Do you mind watching over Carter?

“Carter?! Is she okay now?!” He asked

“No, she isn’t really alive. She is on life support and she will be for 3 months but I have a 2 monthlong- long- I’m sorry Robert. I just. Please?”

“Of course Bro. I got your back!”

“Thanks Man, here’s the doctor he wants to speak with you.”

ROBERT’S POV

“Hello, Robert? Are you willing to watch Carter for like 3 weeks? We will be here, but we think it would be nice to have someone here.”

“Yes, I am”

“Great we will see you when?”

“Tonight at 11:00 at night? That’s when Austin leaves.”

“Okay deal.”

“Alright see you then. Bye”

“Mhm.”

AUSTIN’S POV

“Okay Austin, he will be here when you leave.”

“Thanks.”

I went into Carter’s room. And started talking to her. Yeah I know she can’t hear but, maybe she will?

“Hey Carter. I know that you can’t hear me but, I really do love you. I hope you don’t forget me. All of this is my fault! I should have never said that I loved you. None of this would have happened. I’m so sorry.”

I started crying. I went over to the chair and sat down. My eyes started getting heavy and I fell asleep.

Shit! I was supposed to be at the airport in an hour! I haven’t even packed! I ran out of the hospital. And went straight to my house. I packed everything, and got to the airport. I haven’t been living with my Mom for 2 years now. I’m now turning 19 in one month. I got  to the airplane and went through security and all the other fun stuff, and got on the plane. I put my earbuds in and fell asleep.

CARTER’S POV

 I woke up in a hospital bed. And I woke up like 5 minutes before Austin. I wonder what happened? I looked over at the clock. 10:57 p.m. Alright. I looked at Austin and he woke up. Yay. I was going to talk, but nothing would come out. Why? Because he just left. Without saying anything. Oh. No. His tour! I remember reading it online in the shower the other night. I started crying then someone came in.

“Heey Carter, Oh my god! You’re up!” The boy smiled

“And you are who?” I asked.

“Oh right sorry. I’m Robert. Austin’s friend.”

“Oh okay.”

Robert came and sat down and pulled his phone and I guess got on twitter or something. I started thinking about Austin again. I can’t believe he just left. He didn’t even look at me.

“What day is it?” I ask Robert

“March 4th. You have been asleep for about 3 days.”

“Did you tell the doctors I’m awake?”

“No, but I can.”

He walked out of the room. He was really nice. And I have to say, he was cute. He came back in and sat down next to me. He looked me in the eyes. And my heart stopped.

“They said They will be in later and they said that they expected you to be at this time? I don’t haha”

I giggled. He looked me in the eyes again. OH. MY. GOD. Stop! AHAHA

“Quit it!”

“What?” He laughed.

“You looking me in the eyes. I keep thinking that- Uh yeah.”

“Oh. So did Austin see you before he left?”

My eyes started burning and I felt something hot on my face. Great I’m crying.

“No, he just left. I woke up like 5 minutes before he left, and i waited for him to wake up and give me kiss, or hug or something! But he just walked out and left! And i remembered he had his tour.”

Robert pulled me into a hug.

“Shhh. It will be okay. Don’t worry. He will come back.”

“I hope so!”

4 Months later

“Robert!” I laughed.

“What? Now you don’t love me anymore?!” He pouted

“Nope.”

“Oh you are going to pay for that!” He yelled.

Hey guys it’s Carter. Yep never heard from Austin again. It’s been 4 months, we haven’t heard from Alex, Sarah, or Austin. It’s really just me, Robert, and Zach. And we see Austin on T.v. All the time but oh well. I was really upset since Austin has NEVER even called to see if I died. I did cry a couple of times. Especially when the doctors called me to tell me that Austin had cut off my life support in 3 days after he left. Good thing the doctors didn’t tell him I was alive. Oh. No. Here comes Robert. Hang on!

“Gotcha!” Robert yelled and pushed me on the bed. Someone opened my door. Uh oh.

"What the hell?!" The familiar voice said
