Robert’s POV
I’m so stupid! Why would I just leave her like that?! She loves Austin anyway, so I left her. No. No she doesn’t. She loves me more. She even told me.
*Flashback*
“Oh! 3 pointer! You got skill!” I winked
“Yep! I know!” Carter laughed.
I grabbed the ball after she shot it again, and went to go get a drink. I set the ball down and grabbed my water bottler.
“Haha! I got the ball!” Carter yelled and ran with the ball.
“Carter!” I laughed.
I ran after Carter and she ran inside the house. I ran and she tripped onto the couch.
“Haha!” I laughed.
“Your so mean to me.” She pouted jokingly.
“Oh, I’m sorry.”
I climbed onto the couch with her. She got comfortable where her head was in my lap.
“I love you.” She looked up to me and said.
“I love you to.” I smiled.
*End of Flashback*
I really did love her. And I still do. I started walking back into the hospital hoping she would forgive me and still be mine. I walked into her hospital room and-
Austin’s POV
I was standing there. Finally with Carter in my arms. After 4 months, I’m finally happy again. I would never hardly eat maybe 5 crackers every once in a while. I barley even got out of bed, unless of course for a concert. I may sound really mean for not being there with her, but I couldn’t help it. I do lover her. With all my heart, and I never really ever felt this way about someone before. If I could go back to the day I met her I would change almost everything, and not the fun playful parts, but the part with the ‘Mahomie’ and breaking her foot, puking up all that blood. I heard footsteps down the hall. I looked up hoping to see Alex, and Lauren since they came back with me, and Lauren was on break from softball. But it was Robert. I haven’t seen him in forever it feels like.
“Yo! Robert! What-” I got interrupted. Everything went black.
Robert’s POV
“Yo! Robert’s What-” Austin said.
Yes. I just punched him, I was mad I couldn’t help it! He was standing there with my girlfriend, having her in his arms rocking back in forth!
“ROBERT! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!” Carter screamed.
“Him. Austin is my problem!”
“Why, what did he do to you?! HE hasn’t even been her for like 4 months!”
“My point exactly. He hasn’t been here for you, me, or Zach. Tyler even called Austin to see if he was okay, because he hadn’t heard from him, and they aren’t even friends anymore!”
“I don’t care about that. I care about him now! I don’t care about all that past! I care about the present!’
“Well he has done nothing for you!”
Carter knelt down next to Austin, and grabbed his hand.
“Come on Austin, wake up.” Carter said.
“I hope he doesn’t wake up. I hope he goes through what you did! Why couldn’t you have just died?!”
Carter’s POV

Robert said.
“Whaaat?” I said starting to cry.
“I-I’m so-”
“NO LEAVE! JUST LEAVE!” I yelled.
