"Michael can I ask you something?" I started while sitting down next to me.
"Yeaa anything" he relied taking a sip from his can of coke.
"Who or what are you protecting me from?" I asked looking at him.
"Val... I'm protecting you.. "
"Val.. I'm protecting you because I'm your big brother and you are my little sister and after what happened with our parents I don't want to loose you too." he said holding my hand.
"Yeah I understand that Mickey but you promised me that you won't keep secrets from me" i replied.
"Yes Val and I am keeping this promise" he replied but I know he's lying. "Let's go to bed now, okay, we'll talk in the morning." he said while getting up from his chair and putting the dishes in the sink.
*Next Morning*
I woke up before Mickey today and decided to make us some breakfast so maybe he'll tell me whats happening and what he is keeping from me. After making pancakes and coffee i decided to get ready and wake him up.
As i walked up the stairs I could hear him speaking over the phone in his room. I know that it's bad to listen but i did it anyway.
"Yeah mate i know.... for now lets keep her away from the truth... yeah she spoke to me yesterday i knew she tried to get it out of me... yeah she's getting suspicious.. i will tell her soon... yeah okay bye, see you later"
after listening to his conversation I knocked on the door and hear a small 'come in' from the other side.
"Hey I made us breakfast and i brought you coffee to bed." i said walking up to him with the cup of coffee.
"You are the best! What's for breakfast" he asked while taking a skip of his coffee.
"I made us some pancakes with fruit and chocolate on the top" I said smiling.
"OMG That's the best breakfast ever, why can't there be more girls like you" he said taking my hand.
"What do you mean?" i said a little confused but i knew what he means.
"Well, i mean like if we were not related i would totally date you because you are just like me.." he said getting up to get dressed.
"Yeah but I'm so like you only because I grew up with you and you got me into Pokemon's and good music." i replied sitting on his bed.
"That is true and i wouldn't want my sister to be into pink girly shit like I don't know ...uhhh Justin Bieber." he said laughing at the end.
"Instead I'm fangirling over Jack Barakat" I replied
