C H A P T E R | F I V E (seconds of summer)

Recap: "I think I should go now and get ready." i said quickly making my way to the door that leads to the hall inside the house. I walked through to the front door and left before Luke could stop me again. The kiss was nice, his lips were so soft and delicate. I could tell that he was enjoying it too as he deepened into the kiss more. I wish, I didn't stop the kiss. It wasn't sloppy like my first kiss it felt like he was the right one because i felt the sparks running in my body as he held me close.

Val's POV

After the kiss with Luke i decided to go back home and get ready for the party. I decided to wear what i brought today with Kate in town. After i got ready i received a text from Kate saying she's on her way. I guess we are taking her car today, which also means i can get drunk as fuck and forget about Luke. Fuck, i wont be able to if he's there. I mean he'll probably be making out with some blonde wanna be. My thoughts were interrupted by a loud honk outside. I'm guessing its Kate waiting outside so i head downstairs looking at myself one last time. Yep good enough for a party. I left the house and made my way to Kate's car.

"Hey, you ready to party?" I asked getting inside.

"Hell yeah i am, Ash sent me the address, do you have a ride home I'm planing on staying with Ash tonight?" she replied driving to the place where the party is at.

"Yeah I'm probably coming back with Mickey so it's all good." I replied, knowing that I won't be coming back with Mickey because he will be banging some chick.

"Great" She replied happy.  

After 20 minutes of driving in a awkward silence we finally arrived to what happened to be a big building that looked like a normal house. I guess they might be so rich they hire out buildings to party. We got out of the car and Kate ran to Ash who's standing outside. I guess I'm on my own then. I decided to head inside and get something to drink and as i walked in someone bumped into me.

"Watch where you going" i said harshly then looking up to meet Calum.

"Hey Val, sorry you're just so small didn't see you there." he said jokingly.

"Haha so funny, now be a good friend and show me where the drinks are" i replied taking his hand. 

After what felt like hours pushing through sweaty people we finally arrived at the kitchen full of alcohol and few people making out. 

"Here we go, what can i get you?" He said taking a red cup.

"I can do it myself" i replied taking a blue cup and filled it half with vodka and half with coke.

"I think that's a little too much, won't your brother be bad, I mean you're not 18 yet" he said with a worried look on his face.

"I'll be fine, he won't because he's here too." I replied walking outside to what happens to be a garden. After sitting for what felt like hours i heard someone clear their throat behind me.

"Hey there, i brought you another drink..." I turned around and saw Calum with two blue cups filled with alcohol.

"Thanks.. so why are you not inside" I asked taking one cup which was filled with coke and vodka i assume.

"Well there's two reasons... one, all the girls are dancing like idiots and two, i saw you sitting here alone so i thought i'd join you.. but why are you sat here alone" he asked taking a big gulp of his drink. 

"Well, Kate ran to Ash as soon as we got here and its way too hot inside, and Mickey is making out with some blonde bimbo and i don't want to see that." I replied downing the drink Calum gave me not giving shit that its burning my throat.
