When they finally pulled away probably a minute or so later Angel smiled up at Reid.

"Let's take this outside shall we darling?" She whispered softly.

Spenser smiled down at her and kissed her forehead for a moment before taking her hand to lead her out.

"We'll be close enough to step in, you two be careful!" JJ cautioned as they left the club together.

Angel silently squeezed Spenser's hand as they started across the street towards Central Park, acting as if their destination was on the other side of it.

"You're a great dancer by the way." Reid quietly told her as they walked, glancing at her as he gauged her reaction.

"Thank you Spense, you're honestly very good yourself." She winked at him and he let out a laugh at her playfulness.

Neither of them saw the guy from the club suddenly leap out of the shadows knocking Reid in the jaw and grabbing Angel by her arm and attacking them.

Angel quickly did the only thing she could do in that moment and reached up; as the guy slammed her into the tree nearby, his hands already starting to roam her body; she reached up and jabbed her thumbs right into his eye socket making him yell a curse and release her.

She darted away, Reid pulling her behind him with his gun drawn at the unsub.

"Stand down!" Angel stared up at Reid from where she was behind him, the way he was speaking right now with such authority had completely surprised her.

"Or what toothpick, you'll shoot me?" The guy huffed pulling a knife from his pocket and before he could even say another word, Reid fired, getting the guy in the leg.

The case was over, Angel's first case with the Team had ended in a success and now they were all going to get to go home.

***ON THE PLANE***

Nearly everyone was either dozing or outright asleep as the flight home was occurring. Reid who had gotten himself a cup of coffee quietly sat next to Angel who was staring out the window.

"Hey, are you alright?" He asked her carefully with worry on his face.

Angel turned to him, shifting in her seat and nodded, facing him as she smiled. "Yeah, I'll be alright after a decent shower." She trailed off and Reid kept staring at her.

"I just can't get the feel of his hands out of my mind..." Angel finally admitted looking down at her hands on her lap as she admitted it.

Reid very carefully set his coffee down on the table and shifted in his seat so that he was facing her better. He took her hands carefully in his drawing up her eyes as he blushed.

"He won't ever lay a hand on you again."

There it was again, that authoritative tone that no one would expect to come out of someone like Spenser; yet, for Angel it was reassuring and sweet of him to be so protective.

"I know Spense...I know he won't."

Reid carefully reached up, wiping away a tear she hadn't realized was trailing down her cheek. He opened his arms awkwardly to give her a hug and after a couple quiet moments, Angel carefully eased her stance into one where she could lean back into Spenser who carefully pulled her close.

They both fell asleep like that shortly and Morgan who happened to wake up for a moment stared at them and chuckled, pulling out his phone and snapping a picture. They looked utterly adorable and Garcia would kill him if he didn't send her a picture of it.

Within a few seconds of sending it his phone buzzed and he glanced down to read it.

OMG!!! ADORBS!!!! Are they officially a thing, or is it too soon to hope for that?!!!

Not yet Garcia, keep in mind this was just her first case. Give it a month or two and Pretty-Boy won't be able to resist asking her out by then.
