Angel slyly checked out Reid as they headed for the club. It was evident Morgan had helped him with his outfit for the night but oh man it sure did make him look hot. Jeans and a black slight v-neck t-shirt that seemed to highlight his biceps was swoon-worthy. He had left his hair ruffled up slightly, either out of nervousness or because Morgan had made him.

"You really do look great." She whispered, catching his attention. He gave her a small smile, his nerves showing just barely behind his eyes.

"So do you, are you nervous?" He asked quietly, his voice low.

Angel nodded, giving him a reassuring smile. "I'm afraid I'm not much of a party girl despite my fashion choices for the evening. I do like to dance though so I'll just use that to our advantage with the Unsub."

Reid balked at the mention of dancing and quickly revealed. "I'm actually not much of a dancer! I can manage some slow dancing but nothing like what they do in clubs!"

Angel chuckled slightly and leaned her head against his shoulder, he tensed for a moment and then relaxed as he looked down at her.

"Just play along Spense, I'll make sure you have a good time too."

He stared at her for a moment and smiled back a chuckle escaping his throat. "How are you going to do that?" He finally asked nervously as they arrived.

Angel had the audacity to wink at him and spoke up softly. "You'll see Spense."

Yeah, like that didn't make him even more nervous.

***INSIDE THE CLUB***

Angel was leaning against the bar obviously very relaxed but with Reid standing there rather awkwardly just a few inches away from her it was obvious that it might have been more than just the case making him nervous since Morgan had caught Reid checking Angel out at least twice since they had entered the club.

"Come on Reid, put those feet of yours to use and ask that pretty thing next to you to dance already!" Morgan muttered into his communicator slyly, smirking at Reid's face going red.

JJ and Emily however from their own positions in the Club were making similar comments to Angel who was pretty much ignoring them for the most part until she noticed someone in a corner staring their direction.

Nudging Reid she smiled up at him, probably making him even more nervous now than she had before.

"Care for a dance handsome?" She asked winking at him mischievously once again, making Reid's face go red for a moment.

"Not at the moment if that's alright beautiful."

Angel sighed and shook her head before giving him a flirty smile and seamlessly stood up on her tip toes to place a kiss on his cheek.

"Alright darling, I'll hold you to it in a couple of songs." She flirted, making him turn red again.

She could hear JJ and Emily laughing through her ear piece and gave Reid a flirty wink before stepping away from him and onto the dance floor.

The song changed fluidly to one she vaguely recognized and she zoned out for a moment, her feet automatically taking up her starting ballet stance before she snapped out of it and began to move to the beat. She could hear JJ and Emily hooting approval through her ear piece as she danced, she froze though when she suddenly felt a pair of sweaty hands suddenly grasp her by her hips.

The scent of stale breath invaded her face and she twisted free looking the young man up and down with a look that could've probably killed someone. It was the same guy from the other side of the club who had been eyeing her and Spenser earlier.

"Come on Baby...Let's not waste this music now." He growled, his eyes were roaming over her like she was something he might eat and a laugh burst from her lips unintentionally.

She was about to make a curt retort when a pair of arms eased around her shoulders carefully, and the familiar scent of Reid's cologne suddenly enveloped her. "Is this kid bothering you sweetheart?" Spenser voiced just loud enough for the guy to hear.

"No darling, I was just coming to get you for that dance you promised me." She flirted, turning in his hold and ran her hand up his chest to his neck, making him shiver slightly at the contact but he kept playing along as he smiled and tugged her away.

Reid was about to lead her off of the dance floor when the song changed and she tugged him back.

"Come on Romeo, you promised me at least one dance." She teased pulling him back out with her onto the dance floor.

Reid nervously followed her and she leaned back against him as the beat began again.

"Angel I honestly don't know how to dance!" He hissed into her ear.

She smiled and glanced up at him, "Just follow your instincts Spense, trust me doll."

Her hands carefully eased up to where she could loop her arms at his shoulders since he was so much taller than her. His hands carefully went to her hips and she started swaying. It wasn't long before he got the hang of it and actually did some things she wasn't expecting like giving her a spin when the music seemed to demand it.

By the time that particular song was coming to an end Reid had spun her one last time and she crashed against his chest, their faces close together enough to make them both freeze.

"Guys, I think we nearly have him. Seal the deal so we can keep him on!" Morgan chirped from Reid's earpiece.

They both knew what Morgan was talking about but it was as if the whole room had gone silent for them both as Reid carefully helped her regain her footing but kept his hands locked on her elbows, keeping her close.

Angel stared up at him, Reid could see her eyes were practically glowing in the club lights and he wondered if he might repulse her if he went ahead and kissed her.

Angel though smiled up at him and leaned in carefully, letting Reid decide the next move. Then, just as the songs were switching up; Reid very carefully pulled her close and brought his lips to hers, his hands leaving her arms and traveling up to her face to gently cup it, keeping her close as her hands flawlessly tangled into his hair.

No one said anything through the earpieces, everyone was just simply silent; or as it probably was, for Reid and Angel the world had gone utterly still and silent leaving just the two of them together in that moment.

A moment that for them both was perfect for the first time in both of their lives.
