"I DON'T FUCKING CARE. DO WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT!" I yelled.

Rhett and I were having our first fight since we got back together. And it was big, bad, and nasty. I was so confused with everything that was happening.

"IM TRYING TO ACCOMMODATE YOU." He shouted back.

You wanna know why we were arguing? We couldn't decide if we wanted cheese on our burgers. Big, right? So I totally lied up there. Of course we had a few arguments here and there- doesn't every couple? But the way you handle it is what makes the difference. I think we did a pretty damn good job.

That's when I burst out laughing. He shortly followed my actions.

"Seriously, I could care less. I just want food." I shrugged.

He huffed a deep breath and roughly tossed on a slice of cheese. I smiled as I watched him continue to cook the burgers with a gruff look.

"Was it that hard to make that decision?" I asked aloud.

"Obviously so." He smiled with a faint chuckle, passing me a plate.

We had just finished up filming up an episode of Me Time with Link.

Oh yeah! Link. Link was hanging around for lunch also... Forgot to mention that. Link was just standing there with a dorky smile... Like always.

We all sat down on my sofa, since dining room tables aren't used anymore in this decade, and began to eat. As the guys were talking over the TV, my mind was wandering to other places.

Christmas was coming up. I wasn't too sure what my plans were, but I was dying to go up to Boston. Maybe I would go while Rhett and Link are visiting their parents? But at the same time, I would like to spend Christmas with them.

"Earth to Amy." I suddenly heard Link say, snapping me out of my daze.

"Yeah." I said with full attention, causing both men beside me to chuckle.

"Where were ya? You obviously weren't here."
He teased with a snicker.

"Boston." I muttered under my breath, hoping he wouldn't hear.

And he didn't hear. But, Rhett must've. His eyes locked with mine and his hazy green orbs seemed to drill into my every thought.

"Well, I was thinking we could all spend our together." He spoke up, not breaking our eye contact. "We could all go down to North Carolina, and then make our way up to Boston."

With that, my eyes lit up and my spirit soared. The way he new what I needed- I swear it's a gift. Or maybe it's just because our souls are one. Either way, all I could do was smile.

"That'd be great, man. I've never been to Boston. And, I'm sure the kids would love it. Normally I would want to be away from you on our break, but I'd actually really like that." Link said with a wide smile.

"You'll love it, trust me." I returned with a wide smile.

I spent the next few moments simply thinking and reminiscing of old times. All the memories made in Boston. Growing up, meeting Freak, going to Berklee, meeting so many amazing friends, starting T Time, and then leaving at all. But here I have Rhett and Link, a new show, and Freak moved with me. But it isn't quite the same.

"What's wrong, love." Rhett's voice softly murmured into my ear as his arm snaked around my torso.

"Nothing. Just thinking about back home." I sighed softly.

"We'll go back for Christmas. After we go to North Carolina, we can stay until the new season if you like." He told me as his lips pressed against my temple.

"The whole time?" I asked.

"The whole time."

I was going to see my family, all my nutty friends, my city. It was something that would never leave me. The accent, the people, the food, the culture- it was all a part of me.

And my friends... God help my friends.

Link stayed for a bit, before leaving around mid afternoon. Rhett and I sat on the sofa, wrapped in each other's embrace. The occasional kiss or sweet nothing of a comment broke the comfortable silence between us.

And then the doorbell rang.
